This is a baking tip. I may have read this somewhere and stuck it way in the back of my mind. To have it jump back out a few days ago. So I'm putting here so I remember to do this again, just incase I stick it back in the back part of my brain again. If this was your idea I appologize for dublicating and let me know so I can eliminate this post and add yours to my long lost recipe cookbook :) I have tried this and it works! pretty well I might add.

    Recipe #265351

From America's Test Kitchen. Very good meatloaf wrapped in bacon and covered with a slightly sweet ketchup sauce.

    Recipe #229150

Taken from the Backwoods Home magazine.

    Recipe #169677

I am on the search for recipes to make with beets, as I will be growing them this year. This one caught my eye because of the Grand Marnier, there is a note on the recipe card that has Triple Sec in quotes.

    Recipe #165267

From a box of recipes acquired at a garage sale. Have not tried yet, posting here for you to enjoy. :)shirley(:

    Recipe #165132

There are alot of swedish meatball recipes but none of them are made with gingersnaps. These are from a garage sale recipe box that my mother picked up. I have not tried yet but am posting here to save so I can try. Hope if you try them you enjoy them. Shirley

    Recipe #163319

This is a decadent stew that is loaded with seafood. From the Monterey coast in California famous for seafood. Serve with a crusty bread to soak up the juices. Passive time includes marinate time.

    Recipe #163097

Found this in a recipe box that my mother buys at garage sales. Have not tried it yet, but it sounds good and want to post here so I don't lose it. That and the paper it is written on is very thin and fading. Simple basic meal of potatoes and meat, enjoy.

    Recipe #163094

This is going to be the first recipe I make in my pressure cooker. Looks like a good combination of ingredients. Hope you and I like it. From Joanna White "This is an absolutely delicious chicken recipe, but depending on the type of jam used, it can take on a very dark color. Enhance the appearance by garnishing with fine shreds of orange zest."

    Recipe #160498

The wonderful aroma while this is baking makes it hard to wait for.

    Recipe #154206

When it comes to comfort foods, few can beat that perennial American favorite, mashed potatoes. But it’s easy to put a more healthful spin on the old spud by adding colorful carrots to the mix. Found on Americasheartland website

    Recipe #153733

This was fixed by my grandmother every Thanksgiving and was my favorite dish. It was a dish her family made during the depression, crab must have been prevalent then. Very simple to make with only 4 ingredients. My niece that hates onions even loves this. My measurements are not exact because I just throw it together, you may need to adjust it some. Wouldn't be Thanksgiving without it in our family.

    Recipe #152061

I use this as a low carb meal, using cawliflower. But you can easily substitute diced cooked potatoes. Enjoy.

    Recipe #149315

One dish meal, that makes good use of garden vegetables.

    Recipe #141483

This is a nice difference from baked potatoes and makes a very good tasty side dish. Taken from the drawer of my mother in laws recipe box.

    Recipe #136062

This uses up zucchini in a very tasty way. Was not expecting much but boy did this turn out nicely. Cooking time includes saute time. These could easily be made with chicken.

    Recipe #435790

This is an amazingly refreshing salad. I would never have tried this recipe on my own. My brother in law made it and it is delicious. I used fresh corn, tomatoes and basil, but I would sub any of them for frozen or canned except the basil keep it fresh. Granted subbing for frozen or canned will not get a mmmmmmmmm from those that try it, but still tastey. Cook time is marinating time.

    Recipe #435786

One of my recipe reruns. Cook time is sitting time. I stated that the servings would be 24, that is two large pizzas cut into 12 pieces each.

    Recipe #394137

I have used this rub on pork and lamb with excellent results.

    Recipe #364888

I've been working on my hands and fingernails. I purchased a cuticle oil that said in the ingredient list mineral oil, carafan and frangrance when that ran out I purchased one that said vitamin E oil. Thinking that there are alot of different oils available easily now, ceratainly it should be easy to make your own. I went on a search and these are the ones found. I have not tried them yet, when the current bottle I have of store purchased runs out I will. When that happens I will come back and edit this description to include it. I found the discussion for these at this web site, http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3269&sid=04badd1c337d527bcba6e24be5a70958 where they also mention that adding a drop vitamin E anti-oxidant will extend the life. RecipeZaar will not recognize fragrance as an ingredient, so Apricot Oil could have fragrance added if you like.
