Haven't made these yet. Posting so I don't lose the recipe. But crab and anything well almost anything sounds good to me.

    Recipe #157281

Made with a rice crust, adding the beef with taco flavoring for filling and finally an avocado mixture to cover the top. This makes 3 layers the crust the filling and the topping. Very nice presentation. Enjoy!

    Recipe #156287

Was home sick and put this together. My husband that normally does not want to participate in rating a recipe said that this was 5 star resturant quality. Guess I couldn't ask for anything more. ENJOY!

    Recipe #154249

This recipe is actually called "Sunday Gumbo", but seeing that some people are critical of how a true gumbo is fixed, I changed the name so as not to incriminate the innocent. Enjoy!

    Recipe #154244

The wonderful aroma while this is baking makes it hard to wait for.

    Recipe #154206

When it comes to comfort foods, few can beat that perennial American favorite, mashed potatoes. But it’s easy to put a more healthful spin on the old spud by adding colorful carrots to the mix. Found on Americasheartland website

    Recipe #153733

I have never been a fan of tuna casserole. Don't know why? I like tuna and I like noodles, just don't like them together. This recipe makes serving tuna different, but very tasty. The rice is the crust while the tuna, cheese and egg make the filling. Reheats well in a micorwave for lunch/dinner the next day.

    Recipe #152558

This was fixed by my grandmother every Thanksgiving and was my favorite dish. It was a dish her family made during the depression, crab must have been prevalent then. Very simple to make with only 4 ingredients. My niece that hates onions even loves this. My measurements are not exact because I just throw it together, you may need to adjust it some. Wouldn't be Thanksgiving without it in our family.

    Recipe #152061

Goes best with Recipe #151883. Not to spicy.

    Recipe #151916

    Recipe #151883

This is delecious, kept cool by floating a pint of vanilla ice cream. You can add the alcohol of your choice, but we make it virgin so the kids can drink it too.

    Recipe #151816

Another one pot meal I serve over rice. Once again I double the vegies and liquid making more for the rice. Nice combination of flavors. Enjoy!

    Recipe #151674

I serve this with rice as I don't eat the dumplings, hubby gets those. I also double the vegies, milk, soup, thyme and bay leaf as I like lots of gravy. Very nice hot meal for a cold rainy night.

    Recipe #151671

This makes a moist cornbread. One I have made for years. Reheats in microwave well.

    Recipe #151669
