A layer of cookie dough, a layer of chopped peanut butter cups & double stuff oreos, topped with a layer of fudgy rich brownies - decadent! You can vary the type of candy too - substitute chopped mounds or kitkats or what have you for the pb cups! The recipe below is the "by scratch" version but the last step tells you the quicker alternative with box mixes. Experiment! These are absolutely wonderful (and freeze well too)

    Recipe #504517

These super rich amazing brownies are adapted from a recipe from O'Conaills - an irish chocolatier. I received the chocolate from a friend, I don't think you can purchase it in the states. So use a good quality chocolate. I put the original irish ingredients in parentheses after the converted version.

    Recipe #489976

This is worth the extra time it takes - most of the time is cooking & cooling (not active time) and the result is glorious! It makes a lot, you can freeze a portion of it once you've completed it. Cooking time does not include marinading the night before or the overnight cooling in fridge. Making this is a two day commitment....but again not active cooking the whole time!

    Recipe #485689

These are very easy and delicious! I added a teaspoon of (organic) maple flavoring to the topping - extra yum! From “The Four-Sided Cookie” (Bodger)

    Recipe #482694

This is a delicious take on gingerbread! The chunks of sweet pear add moisture and a delicate fruity flavor. Serve it plain or dusted with confectioners' sugar or beside a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or frozen yogurt! Adapted from Moosewood Restaurant Book of Desserts.

    Recipe #462619

a gorgeous pizza topping - I make this on a store bought ready made thin whole wheat pizza crust but I am sure it could easily be made on dough that you make & roll out yourself. I also cut this into small pieces (little squares rather than triangles) and serve as an appetizer.

    Recipe #459549

A lovely green and nutty dish – the addition of halved cherry tomatoes makes this a colorful tasty vegetarian meal or side dish!

    Recipe #454904

I LOVE onion gravy in beef stew, absolutely delicious! The lima beans add more protein and the biscuits are great for soaking up that wonderful gravy. And this recipe has the added bonus of making your house smell delicious!

    Recipe #454881

This is a real kid pleaser! What kids don't like barbeque? The biscuit baskets make these fun and the filling absolutely melts in your mouth.

    Recipe #454879

This was in the Stop & Shop grocery store sale flyer this week. Thought I'd try it - very good and easy too. I made them small so we could have them as "sliders". I also made some bacon (http://www.food.com/recipe/easy-microwave-bacon-173076) for additional garnish and my daughter put a slice of cheese on hers.

    Recipe #447300

Got this from a Betty Crocker email and have made it a number of times. Very delicious and easy.

    Recipe #414023

    Recipe #412977

A recipe from the "Exclusively Pumpkin" cookbook that Virginia Bunn lent me. I have to return the cookbook so am recorded recipes to try on recipezaar! I LOVE pumpkin!! (I've modified the recipe somewhat to make it a bit healthier!)

    Recipe #412976

    Recipe #386685

Quick & Easy - uses all those herbs in my garden! From June 2009 GH

    Recipe #386613

This recipe was in a newspaper supplement in fall 2007 and it took a me a whole year to get around to trying it. I made it for coffee hour at church and got rave reviews! It was quick easy to make and I am posting to share with everyone at zaar & to share with church friends who want the recipe! It has a lovely tart flavor, not too sweet. I could see this being absolutely delicious with vanilla ice cream....

    Recipe #337661

This light & fruity punch was a big hit at a recent gathering at my house. You can definitely improvise from the original by adding other fruit. When I don't have fresh peaches I use a can of sliced peaches, liquid & all. This would look nice garnished with mint leaves!

    Recipe #322430

These soft bread sticks are delicious right out of the oven! They are nice sprinkled with coarse salt, and might even be better with coarse salt mixed with chopped pine nuts! I used my bread machine to make the dough. Active prep time includes the 1 1/2 hour bread machine dough making time.

    Recipe #283077

A wonderful comfort food with a pleasing blend of flavors. This dish is great for brunch or as a side dish for a cold winter’s dinner or as a main dish for a light dinner (it's a very versatile dish!) The flavors need to meld in a Strata – so make this the night before for a brunch dish or the morning before if you are serving it for dinner (you could even prepare it the night before for the next evening’s dinner). The preparation time does not include the refrigeration time.
