Hummus is a popular dip usually eaten with pita bread at Middle Eastern restaurants. This version is is easy to make for anyone with a food processor. You may be aghast at the use of bottled lemon juice and jarred garlic, but it really does work as well as fresh for this recipe. Add sliced tomato, lettuce, red onion, and perhaps a few pickled banana pepper rings. It's very satisfying.
