This is a salsa recipe that I got fro a friend I knew in California. She made it for a final get together before we moved away and I could never find a recipe that seemed quite right. Now that she's finally shared it I'm putting it here for safe keeping! Times are estimates as I haven't made this yet. I like to eat it with tortilla chips, but it would probably be great as a side dish to some chicken.

    Recipe #463147

An simple and easy appetizer that is a crowd pleaser! I got this recipe from my dear friend Lita, who is known for feeding all those who come to her house. Have to post it here so I don't lose it! Amounts are easily adjusted based on how many you want to make.

    Recipe #431168

A great meat and potatoes dish. Filling and tasty, the whole family loves it! My mom insists that I make this every time we visit. I got the base of the recipe from an old Taste of Home or Quick Cooking magazine, it's been awhile so I don't remember which one. I did tweak it a bit to suit my family's tastes. The frozen veggie amounts are approx, it changes every time I make it based on what I have in the freezer and my mood.

    Recipe #341298

An easy summertime pasta salad! Very versatile and the kids love it. Can be eaten warm or chilled. If chilling, add bacon bits when serving or else they will become mushy. You can change up the veggies as you wish and add it whatever strikes your fancy. Also easily altered for number of servings.

    Recipe #294343

Uses ground beef and rice... posted here so I don't lose it.

    Recipe #276234

Good way to use up leftover chicken! Plus no need for canned cream soups.

    Recipe #274111

My grandmother made these cookies every year for Christmas. They were always anxiously awaited and then we tried to make them last as long as we could, not an easy feat. When asked to describe them, I would say not as sweet as a sugar cookie and not as heavy as shortbread. Simply the best cut-out cookie there is. This is best made with a standing mixer. Note prep time does not include chilling overnight.

    Recipe #272814

This is a family favorite from growing up and now a family favorite with my husband and kids. The easiest way to describe it is like a sweet n' sour dish.
