    I found this recipe on the web somewhere through one of the Diabetes newsletters I get in my email. I don't remember where so if you happen to know who the author is I will gladly update it here. I have not made these myself but would like to soon. Putting it here for safe keeping. The author of the original recipe added a note to say that this recipe also works well with a mixture of half cake flour and half white whole wheat flour. Prep time is estimated.

    A casserole that you can prepared the night before. May be served as a main dish or as a side. Use cheddar in place of the four cheese blend. I personally have not tried this recipe yet but plan to include it in my menu as a side dish very soon. I believe this comes from Cooking Light and has been recommended to me. I'm putting it here on Zaar for safe keeping. Prep time is estimated and does not include refrigeration time.

    I saw this recipe by Chef Steve Chiapetti of Viand restaurant in Chicago on the Today Show this morning. I knew that sometime in the future I would love to try this recipe. I have not tried this as of yet but I am posting for safe keeping. If anyone chooses to try these please leave some feedback! I tried to edit slightly as some details were left out from the printed recipe vs demonstration. There is no mention of servings so I will just use a guesstimate of 24. Cook time is also unknown, a guesstimate as well. He also mentioned that these could be filled with anything.

    Cookies that taste like banana bread! My banana bread lover loved these cookies. I had included these on my 2006 Christmas cookie tray. I'm putting the recipe here on Zaar for safe keeping. I don't recall where I got this from, so if anyone knows, proper credit will be given. I did omit the macadamia nuts last year because I ran short.

    Taken from Taste Of Home and placed here for safe keeping. I have not tried these myself yet. By request of a family member these will be included in my cookie trays this Christmas. Nutritional info would not compute for one cookie. So I used 4 per person as a random number. Giving you 21 servings. From the website the description reads;The refreshing citrus flavor in these pressed cookies comes from lime gelatin. They're easy, festive and delightfully different— always a big hit at potlucks and luncheons.

    "Spicy, meaty and with just the right amount of beans, it's a terrific chili". I made this after watching Al Roker make it on his morning show. My family prefers the more tradional mild ground beef and beans type of chili but I needed a change. It is spicy, but I personally did not find this too spicy. If you are not overpowered by hot italian sausage that has simmered away, then you should be fine. This is the first chili I have eaten more than 1 bowl of. The first I have made using a diced meat. I made this using 45oz. kidney beans per family preference. Simmered an additional 45 minutes before adding the beans. I did find that it took a lot more time than 15 minutes to thicken. Possibly due to the rain here? Much thicker and better on day 2! If it were not for my partners "delicate" palate, I would up the heat a bit. Cooking times were provided by the recipe with the 45 minutes being active cooking time.

    This recipe was on Paula's Food TV show. They are to die for! I made these because my partner will not eat anything with cream cheese in it. I thought I would actually have cookies to eat the next day. I was so wrong. I made a double batch and only had 3 cookies in all. I did not find these to be Gooey. More delicate and cake like. Be sure not to over bake. *Prep time includes 2 hour chilling time. *NOTE - On her show she did add oil...I don't know the amt. I added no oil the 4 times I have made these and I don't feel its needed...My hips agree :) UPDATE: I have also used FF Cream Cheese with good results. Any flavor cake mix works well! Please also note that the directions do state that dough will be very stiff. I use my stand mixer with no problems. Please use caution if using a hand mixer.

    I found the original recipe at the KA website and made a few changes to meet my DS taste. These cookies are really good and keep well. They are the kind that get better the next day. I plan someday to try to add other dried friuts and nuts as this recipe seems to be one with many possibilities. *Number of servings is dependant on size of dropped dough used. SERVINGS BELOW is a guesstimate. I needed to fill in a number as I used both 1 and 2 TBSP scoops. *Prep time is estimated - majority of time is allowing mix to thicken. *frozen or fresh berries burst & do not keep more than a day, cookies become watery. I would not use unless you intend to eat right away.
