This is from the october's Sainsbury's magazine. It is absolutely delicious and one of the quickest meals you could ever do with just 10 mins prep and 10 mins cooking time! I've made this with king prawns as well. Make sure you use the best quality ingredients you can afford because it makes a huge difference to the flavour.
This is from Tarla Dalal's Roz ka khana and is a huge favourite with my daughters. It is really quick and nutritious. I use Tinned or frozen corn kernels. They come out quite crisp, perhaps someone reading this can tell me if they need to be softer and how I can achieve that...
This recipe is from the November issue of Olive. It is a copy of the one found at the Lake District Sharrow Bay hotel. It's absolutely delicious and a definite must-try! Forget about those calories for a change and indulge!
I've just picked this recipe card up from my local supermarket. It looks delicious and I think I'll be trying it when we go to our friends' house on halloween. Roasting the pumpkin sounds particularly good.
This is from the Good Food Magazine. It's chewier than regular flapjacks because of the bananas. Use porridge oats rather than jumbo oats, which make the mixture too crumbly. My kids LOVE them - I'm sure yours will too!
I got this recipe off a website (wrote it down instead of printing it so can't tell you which one). We love this! I cook my lamb in the pressure cooker which only takes 10 minutes or so. I have no idea how long it will take in a regular pan so cooking time may well be longer. I've put 40 minutes as a very rough guesstimate.
This has become a must-do when we have company. Just dunk some breadsticks in and watch your friend's faces! The original recipe included a sprig of rosemary but I don't like it so have left it out. Feel free to include it.
I absolutely love this recipe because it only has six ingredients but tastes divine. It's from the BBC Good Food magazine's Dec 2003 issue. I've made it about half a dozen times and my husband licks his plate everytime!!! I tend to add a little more stock and wine as I prefer more gravy but I've written the proportions as they were in the magazine.
A light, fresh-tasting dessert. Healthy and not overly sweet. Prep time does not include time for chilling. From Great Good Food. Edited to add: This is one of the recipes I adopted from the Recipezaar account.
A quick and tasty microwave breakfast for one person. Increase your fiber intake! I often have this as an evening snack. Edited to add: I adopted this recipe from the Recipezaar account. I tried it for breakfast last week and really enjoyed it.
