Simple way to make moist yummy burgers, a summertime grill favorite

    Recipe #426355

Easy slow cooker casserole adapted from Taste of Home's Potato Sausage Supper. I adapted this from the 2 cans of cheese soup to make it lighter but still flavorful. Notes *The cups of milk are an approximate, I fill the soup can with milk to mix then after putting the hotdish in the slow cooker I pour more milk over the top until it just covers the potatoes. *I have been using Cambell's new Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup

This is a really great sratch recipe for spagetti or pizza sauce to make ahead of time I put it in the crock pot on low to simmer. If you look at the label of most spagetti sauce you buy in a store the second or third ingredient is corn syrup. After this we don't ever buy red sauce. I make this in large batches frequently and it freezes very well.

    Recipe #409576

A really easy put together on weeknights savory dinner. This is just as good with soy based products using non dairy versions of cream cheese and sour cream that are found in the organic food sections of most supermarkets. My daughter was lactose intolerent as a baby and since I nursed her I had to cut out dairy for both our sakes. I have to say even my fussy husband didn't complain about the soy substitues I used several years ago. Just in time to wean her my baby girl out grew her lactose problem :)

A fast easy put togeather in the morning or the night before. I am always looking for new ways to use my crock pot and this one came togeather on the first try. Its cleans up in a snap with slow cooker lining bags the apples blend in really well with the ham and carrots and my kids love it. It makes a great sunday supper without a lot of fuss.

    Recipe #407032

We make this every year for Christmas eve with riced potatoes and gravey and lefse we make ourselves. This is my own take on Betty Crocker's meatball recipe. They always turn out and go great with mashed potatoes and gravey or in spagetti.

    Recipe #407027

This recipe was one I came up through trial and error after eating at olive garden last year on my birthday. We don't eat out much and we love homemade soups. I also don't personally care much for canned soup. I had been looking for a new soup to try and after I liked the soup at olive garden so much I decided to give this a try. I personally used a 50/50 mix of ground beef and venison burger for this but use what ever you like. I also like to make my own stocks but I found the Progresso Beef broth works very well for this when I am time crunched. I have done this on the stove top but it works great in the crock pot too. I grow and preserve my own veggies and freeze some soup ready mixed veggies but you can just as easily buy mixed veggies if you wish. Canned works ok for stove top but turns to mush in the crock pot, use frozen for that. Don't feel intimidated by the long list of ingredients, this throws together in about 15-20min and in the crock pot its almost no effort at all. We serve it with a fresh salad and breadsticks so its just like the resteraunt soup, salad, and breadsticks special. I buy frozen breadsticks that are just brown and serve.
