Very good and a nice change. I am not a big fan of cauliflower so I use a bag of fresh stir fry vegetables instead. The presentation is very colorful. I adapted this recipe from a Weight Watchers cookbok. 1 point per 1 cup serving.
I found this in the Arizona Republic reprinted originally from the Chicago Tribune and thought the combination sounded delightful. When I calculated this recipe out to 8 ponts per serving I was even more thrilled. Tasty and hearty.
A delicious pizza that the whole family will like regardless of who is counting calories or watching what they eat. If you use small Boboli shells or pita bread you can make individual pizzas. Great for kids. This recipe can be adapted for vegetarians. With vegetables added the possibilities are endless.
My sister in law made this for a family gathering. I was so impressed that I bugged her for the recipe. I did lighten it up a bit for those of us eating healthier. Don't worry not all of my recipies are sinless. Enjoy!
I clipped this recipe from the Wednesday, May 26th, 2004 edition of the Arizona Republic. This recipe is great because it uses black beans and is a fancy twist on traditional baked beans. Some may even call it "fusion cuisine". This dish can be mixed up, covered, and refrigerated up to 2 days before baking. I think this would be very good with seafood or chicken. This recipe is 3 points per serving. Ya Mon!
This is a creation of mine that was created with the intention of adding some nutritional value to a very fattening recipe. The calories will change depending on what you add or take away from this recipe. It is a template for your own needs. I set the recipe up as something you can make for one; however, you can make a lot of potato wedges at once for more servings.
This is a spicier variation of Recipe #15073 I posted a couple of years ago. I did not have any onions or frozen peas and got creative with what I had available in my pantry. Great with just about any Mexican meal or eggs. Enjoy!
This is an enocomical meal that can also utilize chicken or beef. Depending on what is on sale at the grocery store. I love the noodles, vegetables, and flavoring the noodle packets give the meat. 5 w.w. points per serving
This recipe came from the February/March 2003 issue of Taste of Home's Light and Tasty. I really have enjoyed this recipe and the ease of preparation. Also, very economical to have on hand. Those small packets of pre-flavored oatmeal do get pricey. 3 points per serving.
