I like easy recipes that are big on taste . This is a great side dish that I never get tired of. It came from one of my many cookbooks but since I had torn the page out years ago, I don't know which book ! Make sure you use converted rice !!!
I have taken many of their cooking classes which were SO fun! They have stopped doing them in my area much to my sadness because they were great ! This salad is REALLY good.
It is truly worth the effort but must be put together at the last minute so the tomatoes are warm.
I found this on Teri's Kitchen web site that I frequent often. You can use turkey in place of the chicken and it is just as good. This is a great recipe to use up left over chicken or turkey and is vary easy to make on those weekday nights when you don't know what to make for dinner !!
Maybe it's because I have my grandmother's cast iron skillet that makes this SO good! I Love cornbread and my fellow of 10 years LOVES this recipe. I got it off Allrecipes but have done a few changes.. Enjoy!
When my girls were young, they could not eat a taco without breaking the shell and having a mess! I started making them pita bread sandwiches and they loved them. Adults like them also. Very easy and a quick meal on weekdays when time is short.
Another family favorite that is always made for any gathering! Even though my sisters, brother and I love to cook, we still like to make our favorite comfort foods. This serves a lot and can be made the day ahead which make it an easy dish to bring. I love Ronzoni Smart Taste or Dreamfields pasta when I cook.
This is very easy and should be made the day before. It will last for one week in the fridge if you have any left. Great for the Holiday's, served with pita chips, bagel chips or raw veggies. I usually double or triple this recipe !!
