My son loves Pagach, so I whipped up this recipe for dinner last night.
You can use whatever kind of cheese you like. I use the store bought premade mashed potatoes you find in the meat section of most supermarkets, so easy, so delish!!! Also, my husband suggested topping it with some crispy fried bacon!!!!
Great as an appetizer. You can eat it hot, cold or room temperature. You can use a smaller pan for a thicker quiche. I like using the 13 x 9 and cutting it into smaller pieces. Makes me think I'm eating less of it!!!!!!
I like this salad because it's not a heavy "italian dressing" type pasta salad. I use the whole wheat couscous, but, you can use regular. The vegetables are my preference, feel free to change them to what you like. Cooking time is only 5 mins, Let it cool at least an hour, if you can wait that long!!!!
Posting here for safe keeping. From Wegman's Menu Magazine Summer 2009. The original recipe called for it to be baked in the oven for the entire time. I prefer cooking it on the grill after I partially bake it in the oven. The chicken needs to marinate in the refrigerator at least 6 hours.
Got this recipe from a friend at work. Whenever we have a "cook in" at work, she always brings the fruit and fruit dip. I can eat this without the fruit it is soooo good. You can experiment with different flavored cream cheese. I used pineapple this time. You could use raspberry, strawberry, whatever floats your boat. Enjoy. Cook time is chill time.
This could be a copy cat recipe for Panera Bread's Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich, however, this is a little lower in calories and fat with the few changes I've done. I suggest using a dense thicker bread for this sandwich, it holds up better. You can substitute your favorite flavor of hummus.
A little on the salty side, but, a tasty treat for the olive lovers!! I like to serve this with two other "bruschettas" White Bean Bruschetta and Tomato Bruschetta. These are great on toasted baguette slices, italian toast or pita chips.
This was dreamt up while my sister and I were looking for a use for one large can of pumpkin pie filling. Don't be put off by the thoughts of pumpkin pie filling, it makes the recipe soooo easy, no spices to add. It is pretty rich, so enjoy in small servings. Hint-top your bowl of soup with a dollup of sour cream and a sprinkling of French Fried Onions.
