We love Greek food, and when you can make a Greek dish for breakfast, homerun! The medley of cheeses adds richness and body to the scrambled eggs. Recipe adapted from the Flying Biscuit Cafe, Atlanta, GA. COOKS NOTES: Please note that there are no cooking times, not needed. If you know how to cook eggs, and you know how you and your family like eggs, you will have no problems.

This recipe comes from the package of apricots I have in my pantry. I love the flavors of the Mediterranean and thought this sounded yummy. If you would like and have some cooked chicken, you can shred the chicken and add to the dish along with the apricots for a light main course.

Roasting brings out the natural sweetness of vegetables and this recipe is no exception. The recipe was a grocery store handout and has been adjusted only slightly.

This is an adopted recipe. The description was written by the original chef. "Being from California, Fish tacos are a staple in our family and the kids ask for them all the time. Feel free to substitute any firm fish like Tilaplia, salmon, snapper etc. Adapted from original recipe from Bon Appétit."

This is a perfect meal for the weeknights when you need something fast but elegant. This recipe uses a prepared Alfredo sauce; however, if you have more time you could make your own. The recipe was printed in Sabrosa a southwest dining guide.

A great way to dress up cauliflower and for a change of pace how about "Dusty Musrooms". Simply replace the cauliflower with 4 cups of fresh mushrooms, cut in halves or quarters and adjust cooking time if necessary. This recipe is adapted from one of my favorite healthier cookbooks==Oat Cuisine.

One of the great things about living in the Bay Area, are some of the best restaurants in the country are here. The Tadich Grill If I remember correctly, is one of the oldest restaurants in San Francisco. More than fifteen gallons of this classic chowder are made at Tadich Grill every day (a little more than most home cooks require at a time). The white chowder was introduced as a daily menu item sometime in the 1960s.

A very basic creole sauce that can be used when making shrimp creole, stuffed peppers or my favorite as a gravy over meat. I especially love this with rice topped with leftover meatloaf slices and then this sauce spooned over.

This recipe comes from kraftfoods.com. This salad is so easy and can be increased as needed to serve many. This is great for potlucks or when cooking for a crowd. The original recipe calls for sandwich spread; however, that is very expensive and I use the alternative of Miracle Whip Salad Dressing and chopped sweet pickles.

Is it a vegetable side dish or is it corn bread? This recipe comes from The New American Diet Cookbook and is credited to having originated in eastern Oregon. It is deliciously different and goes well with stews, bean soup or chili.
