A great spicy sweet way to use that pork loin that is always going on sale around here for a great price. I got this from one of those recipe cards at the grocery store. i did not include marinating time in the prep time.
I was looking for a soup recipe and just couldn't find what I wanted so I decided to make one up. This is what I came up with. I used the veggies and herbs I had on hand but I think you could change this to suit your preferences and it would still be good.
This is from a Weight Watchers ad. I love that it adds some veggies to a ham sandwich. The original recipe called for Weight Watchers spreadable cheese wedges but the recipe builder didn't know what that was, so I subbed cream cheese. I am sure it would be great, you could even use a flavored cream cheese.
I think this would make a great lunch, especialy using the same method and some leftover taco meat. Or you could use leftover ground beef and barbecue sauce. I got this recipe from a Pilsbury booklet. What about ham, leftover alfredo sauce and some swiss cheese?
