This recipe came from my own creation when I wanted a nice cassarole and did not want to wait for it to cook in the oven. I like it because it is very easy to prepare and the ingredients are most often found in the majority of homes.
It is a "one" dish preparation.

It has been tried by my sister in Pittsburgh, Pa. and by my friend for his family in Orwisgburg, Pa.and by other friends here in Calgary, Alberta
It can be divided into small portions to be put into the freezer for a quick meal should one be in a hurry to get a meal ready for lunch or supper.
