A quick tasty meal
I used frozen Tyson boneless chicken breast strips if you don't pound the chicken breast down to about a 1/4 inch and cut into 1&1/2 inch squares apx.
The Black olives is a can of sliced olives Do not drain
The Mushrooms is a jar of sliced Mushrooms. Do not drain

I made this from the recipe in the magazine and it was very good.
I used regular tomatoes and did not seed them.
I did not have any Italian tomatoe sauce so I used regular and added basel thyme and organo. It looks like too many carrots, but it is better with a lot of them. Depending on how much liquid is in the final mix you might want to not cover the pan in the final step and reduce it some.
I pulled down a recipe for Chicken Rice soup and then started adding stuff, so what I ended up with was very different then the original. I think it turned out very good and made a nice supper, great for a cool day.

I have made it several times and really like it. The bread is fantastic toasted with butter. It makes two small loafs so I freeze one. There was an Editor’s note that fat free Mayonnaise should not be used. One teaspoon vinegar in regular milk replaces the buttermilk.
This is not really a recipe, it is more of an idea. BUT, it is easy and you do no cooking at all ! In the USA, Rotisserie Chickens are available at most large supermarkets and at restaurants like Boston Market. If you can't get one you can slow cook boneless chicken breasts until they can be pulled apart. Number of servings depends on the size of the chicken and size of sandwiches.
I tossed this together at the last second for a fruit salad and it turned out wonderful. I did not have time to chill the salad, but it was fine at room temp. Use cold fruit so the salad does not have to be chilled before serving or bananas and apples may turn brown.
I do not like spicy hot foods very much so most people will find this to be a very mild chili. Sazon Goya - Con Azafran is a spice mix (not hot at all) that you can find in the Mexican section of the supermarket. Several small envelopes are in a small box. I add it to most soup and stew type recipes. It adds a reddish yellow color and a good flavor. Abobo seasoning is also in the Mexican section. It is mostly salt so I use it instead of salt to add a little flavor.
I started to make pineapple chicken the other day and ended up with something very different. This dish has a good orange sweet flavor with a hint of pineapple and fills the house with a nice orange smell while cooking. I used crushed pineapple, but I think the tidbits below would be better. Cooking time does not include the cooking of the rice
I made this up when I had some rice and tomatoes left over. It turned out better then the dish I made the rice for -- I used a mix of wild and Jasmine rice, but any rice would do. Time does not include cooking rice.
This is something I made up and tastes Italian.
The flat noodles were no yoke 1/2 bag. I used a jar of Prego Italian sauce, but you can use any spaghetti sauce. I used a Steamers bag of Italian Vegetables
This turned out very well and was very easy to do. Sazon Goya is a spice mix pack that you can find in the Mexican section of the supermarket. It comes packed with several small envelopes in a small box. It also says Con Azafran on the box.
This spice mix is NOT hot and is a wonderful flavor for this dish.
I use it in most stews, soups or meat dishes.
