I was digging through the refrigerator trying to come up with something this weekend without going to the store and the pickings were slim. I put this together and my kids were going on and on about how good it was, and the different ways we could make it.
This is a Hawaiian inspired recipe that I have created for my entry to Iron Chef Arizona.
First is a panko crusted Mahi Mahi slider on King's Hawaiian roll with green cabbage and a pineapple/carrot chutney.
As the title suggests, this recipe comes from the Make-A-Mix cookbook. Cookie mix can be used to make Recipe #309766, Recipe #309718, Recipe #309655, Recipe #309720, and Recipe #309716 (recipes posted separately).
Make the seasoning mix ahead and keep on hand for a quick dinner. Posted for safe keeping. Found this one at budget101.com. Seasoning mix ingredients makes more than needed for 1 recipe. Save remaining amount in a ziplock-type baggie for future use. By my calculations, you should have enough to make the dinner 3 times.
This recipe was originally submitted to sistersavings.net from Megan Strong. I have changed the type of cheese from mozzarella to colby-jack, and I don't use fat free sour cream. Otherwise, the recipe is the same.
This recipe comes from my MIL. It is really the only chili I like. Great for those cold days you need to warm your insides. This is not a spicy chili prepared as written, but you can increase the heat by adding some or all of the cayenne pepper that is included in the seasoning kit.
Prep time includes time to quick soak beans.
****Please note that you will need a package of Carroll Shelby's Original Texas Brand Chili Kit (one kit is enough to make 2 batches of chili). The ingredient was not recognized, and was therefore not included with the ingredients.****
From www.nabiscoworld.com. I'm posting here for safe keeping. It sounds like a yummy summer dessert. Cook time is chill time. You need 2 of the 4 serving size packages of pudding mix; I did not have a package handy, so could not check the actual ounces.
