This recipe is from Gourmet magazine, from "Sullivan's Steakhouse in Palm Desert, California". We are huge fans of blue cheese dressing, and once we tried this recipe, we stopped buying store-bought. I have had excellent results with fat-free sour cream and light mayo. Also, I don't follow the directions. I put all the ingredients in my "Ranch" shaker and shake for about 30 seconds. Cooking time is chill time.
I saw this recipe on the Rachel Ray show and made with iceberg wedges for our last dinner party. My guest said it was the best "ranch" dressing she had ever had, and couldn't believe I made it myself.....too easy!!!
I got this recipe from Crafts 'n Things magazine. We made them for a dinner party recently, and they were delicious! The only change I would make is maybe add some sort of salt.....I served with unsalted butter to spread, and that may have been my problem.
I clipped this from one of my parenting magazines. I thought the pretzel rod for a stick was genius! I think I will substitute all of my kid's favorite yogurt flavors and experiment. (cooking time is chill time)
My friend and I saw this on Rachel Ray. We made it at her house last weekend, and it was so good that I am making it again for dinner tonight. We omitted the Dijon the first go-around and I personally liked it better. You can use any vegetables that you find in season, and we tried angel hair and perccatelli with good results. We tried spinach and arugula for the mache (can't find it here!!) and I liked the arugula best :)
I saw this on the Lifetime Real Women show "Mom's Cooking". I haven't tried it yet, but it looks really yummy!!! I think I may substitute mini chocolate chips for the nuts--my little one is not much of a nut fan.
