Prep time includes dough sitting and rising time, hands on time is about 10 minutes. When it comes to breadmaking, simplest can be best. this recipe has 4 ingredients (or 5 if you decide to use some whole wheat flour). I learned this in a breadmaking class, and have made it before for neighbors for Christmas. Many people are surprised that it is homemade... it's not difficult, it's just a matter of learning. Variations are listed in directions. If you would like to learn more about making great bread, I recommend Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day, Amy's Bread, and The Bread Apprentice. Hope you enjoy this!

    Recipe #472439

I hosted a Persian dinner, my SIL found this recipe on the internet. Although different than the cookies we are used to, we really like them... reminiscent of a ginger snap for the spices.

    Recipe #432967

This makes a great addition to vanilla ice cream for a treat, or on pancakes or waffles as a syrup. Recipe from the chef at Wildflower Restaurant at Snowbird Ski Resort.

    Recipe #432602

This is yummy rice... great as a stand alone side dish or terrific as an addition to wraps or burritos. This is also great with brown rice (and much healthier).

    Recipe #461252

Wow, this is so DELICIOUS... has a very moist cake texture, but not sweet like cake. I loved it and asked for the recipe from my BIL who is a fabulous cook... thanks Warren!

    Recipe #467685

I got this recipe from a Thai cooking class (taught by Meiling Dawson @ Orson Gygi) and modified it a little. It's very versatile and delicious. Sometimes I use tofu instead ofbeef or all veggies. I use whatever vegetables I have on hand... carrots, onions, peppers, broccoli, etc. Chicken can also be used or yellow curry (posted in a separate recipe... but the meats and curries are interchangeable). I serve it over cooked rice (I use 1 cup of brown rice which I boil for 20 minutes before adding 1 cup of white rice... for better health without sacrificing texture or flavor).

I'm surprised this isn't already in the system... I originally clipped it from a Sunday Parade Magazine insert (the "People Magazine" type supplement to nationwide Sunday papers and it was called "All-American Burger". These are excellent burgers. Whenever I serve them to company, people rave and ask for the recipe. We don't eat burgers often, but these are fabulous and won't disappoint.

found on facebook, want to try

    Recipe #484063

I was hoping to find this recipe and method in a recipe already on the site... no luck. But it's delicious! I hope you enjoy it. Active prep time is 15 minutes. But allow an hour total for waiting time and cooking time.

    Recipe #484873

Got this at a cooking class... they were yummy, haven't tried them yet at home. I did notice when comparing recipes that this recipe has a higher ratio of sugars to other ingredients.

    Recipe #432968

Everyone loves these... they are a family favorite. This recipe will be eaten completely at a family gathering with 9 adults and 9 children (the kids don't eat very much).

    Recipe #460424

Can't believe this great recipe with its proportions is not already on here... most of the other recipes have a higher ratio of eggs and added fats. This is great without the extra eggs and fats!

    Recipe #507271

This is a delicious and LIGHT! pasta dish as well as quite easy to make. If you love meat, then double the chicken... in the recipe I halved the original amount and like it much better that way. I added the kalamata olives to the original recipe and find it makes it a much better dish (but I loved it before the addition). I also use less feta than called for since I reserve a portion without for myself... I don't like feta. 30 minutes total prep and cooking... I work the whole time it's cooking. Enjoy!

    Recipe #469719

This is DELICIOUS and people always want the recipe. I got the recipe in a cooking class taught by Meiling Dawson @ Orson Gygi. It's very similar to the recipe http://www.food.com/recipe/mango-coconut-ice-cream-vegan-237611. But this one is a topping for vanilla ice cream, and that one is thickened and made into ice cream.

    Recipe #463035

Delicious as an appetizer served over french bread. You'll love it if you love olives! The 2 hour Preparation shown is actually only about 10 minutes hands on. So this can be started a couple of hours or more before needed.

    Recipe #472430

This was printed in the newspaper and won honorable mention in the 1997 National Beef Cookoff. It is DELICIOUS!!! This is a terrific meat salad to serve guest in the summertime. It's also easy to prepare. Cooks Notes: Good Seasons Italian dressing is superior to most other italian dressings and the only Italian dressing I use (it's the kind you mix in a cruet with oil, water, and vinegar). Ginger may be frozen and grated as needed.

    Recipe #461856

We just can't find a recipe we like as much as this (but you know how it is... no one else that makes this recipe has cookies that turn out quite the same... strange the way that works sometimes!). The recipe calls for 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening... for me this is the ideal combination for flavor and texture. You may want to experiment depending on you personal taste (like all shortening or all butter or 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup coconut oil... my husband loves the all butter... but he also loves the recipe as written. which is my favorite).

    Recipe #464320

How do I keep losing this great recipe! I need to put it here for safekeeping. Fabulous and easy.
