My husband has been diagnosed as diabetic, so I'm on a quest to find treats for him.

    Recipe #450232

My daughter in-law gave me a recipe for this soup and then I tweaked it to make it more to our liking. The original recipe called for half & half, but I use skim to cut the fat. The original recipe only called for 1/2 cup of flour, but my husband made the remark that it wasn't thick enough, so I increased the flour to 1 cup. I have cooked my own chicken breast to use and I have bought a rotisserie chicken for it.

    Recipe #445331

My sister brought this to Christmas dinner and it was delicious!

I found this recipe in a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. It says "Just a sliver of this chocolate dessert will satisfy - it is ultra-rich". Oh so true! It is just like sinking your teeth into a chocolate truffle. I searched Recipezaar's other recipes for Chocolate Truffle Cake and this one is different.

If you are on Weight Watchers, but still want to enjoy a cocktail, now you can enjoy it guilt free. I like my cosmos on the tart side, so feel free to adjust the lime juice to your tastes.

    Recipe #351028

It's been so long since I've had name brand Kahlua, I can't remember how this compares, but it this is so good. Takes a little time since you have to soak the coffee grounds over night, labor intensive (getting the water out of the coffee grounds), but has a wonderful flavor. My favorite coffee to use is Starbucks Ethiopia Sidamo blend. This is pretty sweet (it has tons of sugar in it). I like it straight up, but it is also great for White Russians, or added to your coffee. Makes great gifts! You can drink this right away, or let it age a while. If you can't find pure grain alcohol, use a good quality vodka. This recipe makes approximately 4 - 5 bottles of Kahlua - depending on how much water you get out of your coffee grounds, and how big your bottles are.

I found this recipe in a Pillsbury baking booklet I bought for a quarter at the Salvation Army Thrift store. These are the best cookies.

If you are looking for a show-stopper dessert, this is it!

A rich wonderful creamy raspberry sensation!
