Gerard Nebesky's paella recipe which he used to win the Paella Throwdown with Bobby Flay! During the Throwdown, Gerard used more fresh seafood which he had available. This recipe was originally posted at http://www.wineandhospitalitynetwork.com/recipes/index/view?id=2026518:Recipe:10788.
From a Pampered Chef party that I recently hosted. Great served with the Lime Tortilla Chips (Tostitos brand) or over fish and chicken! For those people who do not like cilantro (like me!), use flat-leaf parsley in place of the cilantro - it really adds to the color of this salsa!
You can use your favorite brandy or whiskey (bourbon). You can also make this sweet or sour to your liking by using 50/50 or 7-Up. I've heard that this is a "regional" drink, because it's not as common outside of our state!
Raclette is a wonderful cheese originating in Switzerland. We enjoyed a variation of this appetizer at the 7th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience held in Kohler, Wisconsin. Chef Ryan Anderson was our presenter and used truffles in his original recipe...however, for those of us who can't afford to use truffles, he suggested using other woodsy flavored mushrooms. This is to be served with my recipe for recipe#263129.
A recipe presented at the 7th annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience (October, 2007) by chef Leah Caplan of The Washington Island Hotel, Restaurant & Culinary School - Washington Island, Wisconsin. A very comforting seasonal pasta dish!
This recipe was presented at the 7th Annual Kohler Food & Wine Experience in Kohler, Wisconsin by Chef Ryan Anderson. Chef Anderson served this conserve with his Wisconsin Raclette Cheese Honey Truffle Pasty (I've posted my variation here at Recipezaar under Raclette, Honey, and Mushroom Pastries recipe #263143). This was a wonderful holiday appetizer with the flavors of Christmas spices!
