This recipe was my wonderful mother's. Having been raised in California, we ate avocados every day. This is one of my husband's favorites. It can also be used on a sandwich and recently I actually smashed it up and filled eggs with it. A big hit with my friends.
Delicious breakfast casserole dish. Found this recipe in a book called Favorite All Time Recipes...Grandmas casseroles. This is my and hubbies favorite breakfast dish. The bacon can be substituted with Turkey bacon or sausage.
I found this recipe on the internet but I cannot remember where. I swear it is the absolute best cookies you will ever eat. They are sweet, chewy and you cannot eat just one. I promise if you try them, they will be a favorite.
This recipe is very gourmet and is from Bobby Flay on FoodNetwork. A little work, but well worth it. Mostly vegetables and very hardy, it is even better left over! I use store-bought croutons, either Italian or Garlic/Cheese to top it off and a little Parmesan.
Wonderfully rich and moist with a "jam" like center. I used the half white flour and half all purpose like the recipe called and it came out great. I didn't have cranberry juice so I used orange juice. This will be a regular for Thanksgiving from now on. I got the recipe from the December issue of Eating Well magazine.
