I felt like tuna casserole but had no tuna so I decided to improvise my tuna casserole recipe into Chicken and Asparagus.

I usually make home made pizza but one day I wanted to combine my cheese steaks with my pizza and hence the recipe--perfected the first time. This is just wonderful!

I have made cottage rolls often but couldnt find a recipe here on Zaar so I thought I would post my old standby. It is like a corned beef flavour wise but it is a ham made from pork shoulder. It is much cheaper than pork roast, ham or corned beef usually.

I pretty much made both of these up with a bit of help from a couple cookbooks. It is really easy to make and my step-sons favorite soup is homeade pea soup. Even when he found out all the onions were in it he didnt mind. Stir each time you walk by, this has a problem with sticking until you have the hang of it and the perfect pot. If making bean soup, a 16 oz jar of tomatoes adds a great flavour.

We just made this as a side to steak and boiled mint potatoes, simply yummy!

I needed to make dinner the other night and was feeling lazy so I put this together in no time. It tasted great and looked nice too.

DH got me hooked on these, they take 5 min to make before work and oddly enough the microwaved egg is perfect. It is the best tasting egg sandwich I have ever had and a great was to try and keep my chives snipped.

Mom got me some quail so I got a basic idea of how long to cook quail and made this up based on most bird recipes. It was great tasting and tender.

This is a big hit at BBQ's and potlucks. It is great since noone often brings a salad like this so you dont have to worry about having a duplicate recipe. Also great for a hot weather family meal. Everyone loves it. For vegetarians you can easily omit the meat and mix in a can of black beans instead.

This is a great recipe for chicken and dumplings using whole pieces of chicken rather than just a stew. It can be served on plates for a great meal.

I couldn't find a recipe that looked good and I didn't want to puree the soup, so I combined 3 recipes and came up with this one. It was delicious which I found hard to believe with so few ingredients. It also came out a nice golden colour.

I made this up when I had too much leftover turkey in the freezer and have loved it ever since. Sometimes I add kale or spinach but not often but it is good that way. This is also really good as a cold salad the next day too.

    Recipe #44949

This is great as an appetizer for a party, to take to a potluck or baby shower or simply spooned onto a plate and served with tortillas for supper since it is very good, filling and easy. Can also have as a side with enchiladas.

This was another invention to get rid of things in the fridge. It turned out really good, tates great and looks just like a pie. Dont let it fool you when Your pie plate looks to full and uneven, it will cook to seal together, lay just like and appple pie and be the right height. Let rest 10 min before cutting and cut around the edges to ensure a full piece comes out. great the next day too.

I love sprouts and this is a really good way to have them rather than just plain. Goes great with meat and potatoes.

Use this as a guide to make as many sandwiches as you like. I know many people know how to make this easy sandwich but this is a lot how my great grandmother made them and oddly enough the lettuce seems to really make it taste better, especially not just putting it on top of your sandwich. Anyways a new cook may not know this easy meal yet and I didn't see one exactly like this in the database.

This is a really good moist stuffing that takes the place of stove top. You can easily make it in a dish for dinner even if you arent making a turkey. Goes great if you want to roast or BBQ a chicken and have stuffing. However it is really good to stuff your bird too. I sometimes add a clove of garlic while sauteeing onion.

This is from the Company's Coming Christmas Cookbook, it would be good with broccoli too. I have made it for a couple Christmas dinners with raves. Plus that way you get your ham with your turkey. If you don't have fresh ham get a slab of black forest ham from the deli 1 inch thick. If having for a big meal you can easily serve 10 as a small side. It can be made a day ahead and baked the next day. Can also be a meal.
