I received a coupon book from Lactantia in the mail, and this was one of the recipes printed in the book. I made this recipe with some heavy changes, but decided to post the recipe in its original form here.
Milestone's has this wonderful peach bellini (kind of like a slushy) that is full of flavour. We think we have come up with a perfect combination. I use a blender but a slushy machine would be awesome. I freeze a bunch of batches of the 7 Up/Peach mixture and take them out when they are almost frozen but still slushy.
We picked up a bunch of Diana's Marinades when they were on sale and this one looked so good we had to try it right away. This marinade is so flavourful on its own that you don't need to add anything else to this dish!
You could marinade the chicken overnight but the marinade is so flavourful we just cook it without marinading overnight.
My Mom has been making these since I was a kid. It is a meal that my whole family enjoys (minus my brother as he hates mushrooms!). She use to make them by placing flour, breadcrumbs and eggs in three separate bowls. It took forever! I use Tupperware and old margarine containers to shake the mushrooms in. Quick, easy and less mess.
I had an abundance of cream and remembered how much I loved the roasted red pepper soup from local restaurants. I quickly whipped this together and was very pleased with how it turned out. You could easily alter this recipe to your liking.
These muffins are so moist and delicious there are never any leftovers. I am a person that does not like an overabundance of banana flavour so these were just right. You can also make this into a banana loaf as well. Adapted from a recipe I found on the Food Network.
A dish my husband made for me and I never get sick of it! Can easily be turned into a vegetarian dish by omitting the chicken. However, if you decide not to include the chicken I would reduce the cooking time. I just go by the tomatoes appearance (withered).
EDIT: If you are using jarred marinated artichokes, do not add anymore oil. It seems to be too oily that way.
I also add sliced mushrooms to this dish for the vegetarian version.
My brother got this recipe off his boss. My husband and him love it and I make myself the vegetarian version (but it never comes out quite as nice). I call it stew/soup because it fits into neither category (not too liquidity or thick).
