My sister cannot have peanut butter. And she didn't share her recipe for cashew butter and I was just too curious to wait! So, I did a search for a recipe for Cashew Honey Butter and this is what I found. I will compare notes when I get her to send me her version of this recipe!
When I lived in another state at another time -- my now teen boys used to be in Head Start. (This was oh -- 9 yrs ago??) ANYWAY! The director made this wonderful soup that the kids loved. It's easy, its fast.. and its good.
I have had to go dairy free so there are many recipes I cannot even try. This one is one I modified from recipe #118072. It has a nice flavor considering its diary free. I used leftover grilled chicken in it. My youngest son can sometimes be hard to please and he really enjoyed this.
There is a version of "Liquid fence" on the market. I found this works as well, just you have to use it more quickly due to it not having the preservatives in it. It smells bad when you apply it -- this is your warning!! You will need 5 one gallon containers to mix this up. Fast and easy.
I found this recipe at www.nutsforalmonds.com. My huband loves almonds but the already roasted pre-package variety are by far too salty for him. And the Smoked ones he does not care for the flavor. So thus started my hunt for the below recipe.
My mother gave me this recipe. She states she saw it on a cooking show. I decided to give it a try and fell in love with it. I love onions any way -- roasted, carmelized and even fresh. I am giving her credit and putting it here for others to enjoy!
