Baked pasta dishes are the best! This one is a little different and really quite easy to make. It's a good way to extend chicken. I got this recipe from a Reader's Digest book called The How-To Book of Healthy Cooking....the title goes on. I wonder if the title comes in a condensed version? lol

    Recipe #87828

Something quick and pleasing, made with stuff that's usually on hand.

    Recipe #87827

Something else the kids enjoy making as well as eating. The applesauce instead of oil lowers the fat without taking away from the taste. These are very similar to the commercial squares that you buy. My children like these baked at the 30 minute mark, it's more cookie-like. Bake for less time to get a more moist square.

    Recipe #87652

This is so easy to make, something to let the kids help out in the kitchen.

    Recipe #87542

An easy recipe made with things easily found in your pantry---try changing the vegetables for a different mix or using canned corn or green beans.

    Recipe #87280

This is a light and refreshing fruit salad to serve your friends after a nice bbq. Amounts are approximate, substitute your favourite fruits. Servings are approximate too.

    Recipe #87069

This sauce accompanies the mincemeat streusel bread pudding.

    Recipe #86806

You'll enjoy this even if you're not a mincemeat fan. I'm always looking for mincemeat recipes because my husband is a VERY big fan, I'm not, but I liked this one---it's not overpowering. I got this from a local paper and they say it's from a book called The Best Holidays Ever. I've never tried the jiffy custard sauce that accompanies it but I've included the recipe under that name.

    Recipe #86805

Every time I make this, my girlfriends go wild---I have to pry them away. Weird phenomena that is sure to spread (ha ha).

    Recipe #86472

My grandmother used to make this for us when we were little. It's sweet and the flavour gets better as the pie sits.

    Recipe #86249

This is tasty, super easy and made with ingredients always on hand. It comes from (yummy) trial and error.

    Recipe #86227

The kids gave it this title because I think they were surprised they like it so much. I use a fork, but have extra taco chips around for scooping.

    Recipe #85532
