At the beginning of summer I double even triple the first three ingredients and have it on hand in the fridge, after that it's easy to put together when friends come over. The sour cream with the cream cheese makes it very spreadable and easy to pick up with the chips, it's good even as a dip on it's own.

    Recipe #92918

This is a good recipe to make when you don't have a lot of time to set up. Use your favourite bottled sauce or make your own, if you have a family favourite and the time. The variation in ingredient amounts depends on your own tastes and likes.

    Recipe #92784

Good and tasty use for all that extra zucchini. Try adding other vegetables like shredded cabbage or meat and cheese and make it a whole meal.

    Recipe #92646

This meatloaf always comes out moist and tasty, any leftovers can be served on a bun with sauce. It's a great alternative to regular meatloaf with a little bit of sweetness. You don't have to have the sauce with it, it's good on it's own.

    Recipe #92438

This is a nice and easy way to serve oatmeal. It's very moist and tasty, even my children love to eat this one. Use other dried fruits for a different taste. This recipe comes from a local Toronto paper, yeeeeears ago.

    Recipe #92223

The crock pot is great because everything always comes out moist. With this recipe, you don't have to take the meat out ahead of time, just in the pot and go!

    Recipe #92000

This is a nice and simple recipe, the most time consuming thing is preparing the apples. The topping is nice and crunchy. Different fruits, such as dried cranberries, raisins, rhubarb or any type of berry could be added for a unique taste.

    Recipe #91807

It doesn't get more simple then this, try different pops for a different taste. This is truly an easy recipe, great for those days when your pantry is a little low.

    Recipe #91584

This is a really simple dish that can be made with things you have on hand or the things you like most on your pizza. I sometimes use canned tomatoes with their juices or just plain sauce. Experiment and have fun!

    Recipe #91400

The kids hardly notice the carrots in between the layers! This is a really nice dish to serve with ham or roast pork.

    Recipe #91167

This is a nice mild flavour for chicken. I've used regular mustard with sweet onion for this and it turned out well. Serve the sauce over rice or couscous---delicious!

    Recipe #91016

Pillow cookies because that's what they remind me of when they're baked. These are made with some of the fat replaced with applesauce.

    Recipe #90905

Everyone loves chicken and rice. This is quick and filling, easy and tasty to make when you're in a rush. You can add different spices (chili, curry) for a different taste.

    Recipe #90760

This is an easier and healthier way to eat eggplant then the more traditional breaded. Sometimes I will cook the rice in chicken or beef broth for a little different flavour. This recipe originally comes from the cookbook--So Fat, Low Fat, No Fat by Betty Rohde.

    Recipe #90113

    Polish food made easy, enjoy!

    Recipe #89985

Easy! Easy! Easy! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Let the kids help out by pressing the crust in the pan (even easier! lol).

    Recipe #89064

Another way to use up those over-ripe bananas. Sometimes I also add chocolate chips to the banana mixture or a little bit of cocoa to the frosting mixture, for a different taste.

    Recipe #88629

This pizza crust is really good and there is no yeast involved! I got this from a local Toronto paper, I can't remember which one. I usually double the recipe so that it's a rectangle and there is lots to go around. Vary the toppings to suit your taste.

    Recipe #88628

Fiddling around and guess what? they all like it lol Good way to get the kids to eat their veggies and not complain (too much) about it. Play around with the vegetables, see what you can get away with.

    Recipe #88430

Delicious way to get your veggies. Sometimes I add other vegetables to give it a different look and taste.
