I bought a stand mixer and didn't like the recipes that came with it and couldn't find one on here so I created this one after some experimenting. This recipe makes 3 nice airy loaves. You can also use it as a sweet bread by increasing the sugar to 1/3 or even 1/2 cup to your taste. I use 1/3 cup sugar to make cinnamon buns. Preparation time includes rising the dough.
I couldn't find one that suited my way of cooking so I researched a lot of the recipies on this and other sites and used some of the ingredients and methods from other recipes to create this one. I used the Bisquik for the top crust because it was easy and quick but I'm sure pie crust would work well to.You'll notice the choice of oregano or marjoram. The marjoram is similar in taste but milder which i think is better in this recipe. It you don't have it use oregano. This is packed with flavour and quite easy to make. Hope you enjoy.
I got this recipe from a friend at a fishing camp. Real easy to make with 3 ingredients. Use the larger shrimp ( at least 21/30 count or larger ) so that it will cook the bacon and not overcook the shrimp. I do them on the grill but they would be good in the oven as well.
Just an update: When they posted my recipe it says Savory Garlic Cooking Cream. It should be Philadelphia Herb And Garlic Cooking Cream. I haven't tried the other but it might be just as good.
This an easy and delicious chocolate desert. I don't know where this recipe came from but we make it all the time for desert. It's made with chocolate cake mix like Duncan Hine's or Betty Crocker. 2 Skorr bars are broken up and added to the pudding after it has thickened.
This one is a keeper. My mom used to make this for me every x-mas because I didn't like fruit cake. I asked her for the recipe but she couldn't find it so I came up with this one after a bit of experimentation, I think I nailed it because this one is probably better than the one she made. All the measurements are the way I make it but they can be changed to suit your taste. This one is really easy to make.
This recipe I modified from a kraft recipe for chicken strips. All I had was partridge and what was in the cupboard. I had thrown it together for my son and when it was finished, he's lucky that he got any. It turned out delicious.
He had it on soft tortillas with peppercorn ranch sauce and shredded cheese.
Prep time does not include time marinading.
