I'm almost embarrassed to post that I make beanie weenies for dinner, but it is just so fast. It really hits the spot on a cold and rainy (but very busy!) weeknight. Excellent with a grilled cheese sandwich or side of chips or cottage cheese!

    Recipe #191949

This is so simple and results in the tenderest, tastiest steak. It is very good served over rice.

    Recipe #163879

This is a combination of two things my husband loves to order when we go out - loaded baked potatoes and broccoli & cheese soup. He took one bite of this and said, "What IS this good stuff?" Success!

    Recipe #159585

Everything is done in one dish - no work and no mess! This is perfect for a busy weeknight.

    Recipe #154224

Shhh!!! This is a secret recipe and I have it on good authority that it's the real deal. Problem is, it's just too good to keep to myself! Don't ask who let me in on the secret, though, because I'll never tell. :)

    Recipe #111372

This idea was given to me by a fellow Zaarian, Parker's Mom. She wasn't sure of quantities, so I fiddled around with the quantities until I got a combination that seemed good to me. Posted with her permission. :) This stuff really is as delicious as she said! This is such a colorful snack and would be pretty for Easter or a baby shower. Recipe an easily be doubled or tripled. Listed servings are 2-3 pieces each, but will vary depending on size of clusters. Cook time listed is for cooling.

    Recipe #106942

In my world, chili is whatever you want it to be - no rules, no arguments. I've had many people question whether or not this is "real chili" when they see it, but once they taste it they're just too busy eating to worry about it. This is a good basic recipe that can be easily modified to suit your taste. This is delicious as leftovers, but will be thicker the next day as the macaroni will absorb much of the liquid. It is VERY good this way, or you can add water when reheating.

    Recipe #106745

I wanted some "real" baked beans for dinner, but didn't want the leftovers from making my usual recipe since I was only cooking for 2. I played around and came up with this tasty scaled down version perfect us. This is even easy enough for busy weeknights.

    Recipe #106396

I got this great idea from a magazine my friend got. She told me the basics, I went home and gave it a try. It worked out beautifully. I can only imagine how beautiful the presentation would be using these as salad shells. They have a lacy, delicate look to them.

    Recipe #100637

I had something similar to this at a party and loved it. So, I did my best to recreate it for my next party! I've since learned this is a very different method than what she used, but I love my version because it is fast and tastes just as good. This is good as a sandwich or cut into smaller slices as an appetizer. (Servings vary depending on size of slices.) Can be made ahead of time and kept in refrigerator until ready to heat. (Refrigerated loaf will need to be heated a bit longer.)

    Recipe #99153

I found this my latest Cookbook Digest (which says this is in a cookbook called "Secrets of Light Latin Cooking") and tried it immediately. I used feta cheese instead of goat cheese and it tasted great to me.

    Recipe #95229

I saw this in a Kraft recipe pamphlet the other day when I was looking for something quick and summery. Turned out really well and the colors are beautiful! I admit, I didn't use corn on the cob, but it still turned out great.

    Recipe #94634

The name is pudding, but the texture is more like an extremely moist cake. This recipe IS the holiday season to me. My grandmother makes it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. She used to make it the hard way, but learned a trick in the grocery line one year. A lady had several spice cake mixes and Grandma asked what she was making - she said persimmon pudding. Grandma got the recipe and never looked back. :-) I can't tell you how many people I've had say "eww, persimmon pudding?" only to beg for another piece!

    Recipe #94347

This recipe is in a copy of Cookbook Digest I found hiding around the house. These burgers sound awesome!

    Recipe #94346

Posted in response to a request. This came from show 172 of "The House to Home Show." Times are a guess.

    Recipe #92844

I have low sugar and dairy tolerance, but have been craving a shake ever since watching my fiance and his cousin devour shakes during a long (and, for me, shakeless)car trip. So, I came home and made up this quick shake I can eat without fear of feeling sick. I was nice, though, and shared with my fiance. :) He didn't even know it was low-sugar or low-carb - I consider that a good sign!

    Recipe #91951

This is my DH's favorite recipe, and I love it because it's so simple to make! This is especially good on a cold night after a long day at work when you want some warm comfort food but don't have the time or energy to put a lot into preparation. **I wasn't happy with the consistency of the filling, so I played around with the recipe a few times. I think I've finally got it just how I like it and have edited the recipe to reflect the changes.**

    Recipe #80606

Such a simple casserole that is very filling and delicious. A friend gave me this recipe when I needed something easy to cook for a family dinner. I've since made it several times and always receive compliments. This recipe is also easy to double, or even triple, for large families.

    Recipe #78991

This is a delicious dessert that requires very little effort (anyone can make this!) and is healthier than something like pie or cobbler. Also makes a great treat for breakfast!

    Recipe #309626

Faced with a plain can of green beans to use as a last-minute side dish, I had to come up with some way to quickly turn them into something I would actually want to eat. I have to admit, these green beans turned out to be pretty good. :)
