This is a recipe given to me by my husband's aunt who was a wonderful cook. I was written into the hospital cookbook where she did volunteer work. In her honor I would like to dedicate one of her many recipes she has shared with me thru the years and there have been many. It serves 4.
Found this recipe they call it a dip but it's more of a spread, made just a few changes, but my sons and dh finished the WHOLE THING! And I have to add..they actually said,"Wow...this is really GOOD" First time I made it..and almost wished I was alone. Shame on me! All I can say is it went and next time around I am making more.
Made these Memorial Day and they really came out quick and tasty. Nice change from from hamburgers and hot dogs. Everyone enjoyed them. Make as many or as little as you need.I served potato salad, fresh corn, of course the optional vegies, salad, etc. It was a ton of food...Yumm!
Wonderful appetizer and can even be used as a side dish to your favorite meal. A good way to use up all those zucchini in the garden when the summer get underway! Got this from a neighborhood cookbook.
Very delectible muffins with a lemony taste and a wonderful streusel to give it a slight sweet taste atop. Wonderful with your morning or mid-morning or anytime coffe or tea. And when no one's looking ...a snack!
This is very quick and extremely easy if you are in a hurry. It can be served with potatoes, or rice in any form.I have even cooked this on the burner on the grill outside on a hot day.A slight variation of the can recipe. I think the flour adds to the flavor more along with the spices.
This is a tasty meat and vegetables with just the right spices to make it a flavorful dish. I got this from the ladies of the Greek Orthodox Church. They always have something special cooking in the kitchen.
