    I can never find the write lettuce and its too hard for my kids to wrap and eat so I created this version - which is really a Lettuce Wrap Salad - instead.

    This recipe is from The Silver Palate cookbook. It comes together very quickly - especially if you precook the bacon. I usually do it on the weekend in the oven, remove, drain and paper towels on a plate in the fridge. For the weekday meal, I take the bacon out of the fridge, rough chop it and microwave for about 45 seconds. It's easy and delicious.

    This is from the November 2009 Canadian Living Magazine and is easy and delicious. I use aged cheddar (it's white) and I shred enough until my box grater is about 3/4 full. I also never seem to have 3 cups left in my open box of Chicken stock so use 1 cup water and 1 tsp of my Epicure Chicken Stock spice. For the ale I've used Stella with great results.

    There are a few recipes on here but none of them are quite right. Tip: Near the end of boiling ingredients, throw in a handful of mini-marshmellows. Stir until melted. This is supposed to hold everything together better. I haven't tried this tip but thought it sounded good and want to add it before I forget!
