Delicious chocolate cake with caramel, Butterfingers, and a Cool Whip/cream cheese frosting.

    Recipe #515538

Hummus with an East Indian flair of curry and the spicy accent of Serrano chiles. The flavors blend well together in this recipe. I came up with this version of hummus after tiring of the same ol' flavors they sell in the stores. This is an easy, healthy recipe and can be served as an appetizer, sandwich spread, dip for snacking with veggies, or pita chips, anytime!

    Recipe #421250

This recipe was my mom's and it's my favorite bean salad recipe because I grew up eating it. Funny how that matters. LOL Very simple to make and makes enough to take to a picnic or potluck. Be sure to marinate it over night or for at least 6 hours.

    Recipe #357595

This batter is awesome for deep frying anything! Onion rings, mushrooms, zucchini spears, fish, chicken, shrimp, etc. It is light and thin so you can actually still taste the food you deep fried. This recipe doesn't seem like it would make a lot but it's so thin that it really covers a lot of food.

    Recipe #161589

When you want an easy sweet and salty snack. Got this from a friend.

    Recipe #161448

This is so easy and yummy it's totally like cheating! This was a staple at family potluck gatherings when I was a kid. I live too far away to attend very many family events now but I make this once in a while just to reminisce. You can double or triple this recipe according to your needs.

    Recipe #161446

My mom made these all the time when I was a little girl and I loved them. These eggs are such a pretty color when they're done and although they look nice they're very spicy and bite you back when you bite into them! They're quite pretty sliced over a salad or as an appetizer on the buffet table or just eat the yummy things for no other reason than the fact that you want a cute, spicy, pickled egg! They get their gorgeous color from the beets which are delish too. The onion rings can be used to garnish a salad as well. Heck, use all the goodies from the jar; you just can't go wrong with this one.

    Recipe #160948

I couldn't find this recipe on Zaar so I wanted to share. This salad is full of such a delicious combination of ingredients that it can be used as a main dish, side dish or dessert. The fruit compliments the meat and veggies so well. This is the best pasta salad I've ever tried. When I take it to potlucks it's always a favorite and gone in a flash. Try it! :)

    Recipe #160938

This Lemon Cream does not contain yogurt or pudding or sour cream. It is simply the best lemon cream ever! You can use this to dip any fruit or top a cheesecake with it. Its use is limited only by your imagination. I LOVE this stuff!

    Recipe #160933

Oyster cracker nibbles are great for Christmas gift trays or just snacking on during the holidays. My fabulous MIL gave me this recipe.

    Recipe #160927

A healthy breakfast or snack food anytime.

    Recipe #160904

This is a breakfast I make a few times a week for my husband and our 5 kids. When you have as many to feed in the morning as I do (and some are very picky), it's nice to find a recipe that makes a lot, is good for you and tastes great! These fluffy pancakes are very versatile. The "polka dot" part is simple to make by adding chocolate chips, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, or anything else that looks like "polka dots". We even have these for dinner sometimes with bacon and eggs. Using the whole wheat flour adds an excellent flavor and extra nutrition too. Enjoy!
