There are several versions of this recipe, this is how I make it. My nephews LOVE it! It tastes like cheesey fish sticks, potatoes and a slight taste of creamy tartar sauce all baked into one! :) **If you don't like tartar sauce, simply omit the sweet pickle relish. But we LOVE it just like this! :)
I had to come up with a kid/adult friendly recipe to please everybody while my step-daughter was visiting. So this is what I did. We ALL LOVED this! It ended up making a lot, though, so you might want to make a half a recipe. I'll be taking this to the next potluck or family gathering that comes up! It was so good! It came out WAY better than I thought it would. I was quite surprised and happy! Hope you try it!
Created this one afternoon when I needed a little pick-me-up, wanted something sweet, and was feeling a little naughty! :) This really hit the spot and tasted quite like a Milky Way candybar! YUM! :) Hope you enjoy!
My DH loves those frozen Tony's Pizza Rolls....I'll eat them too, but....what exactly is in them?? We probably don't want to even know! These are MUCH better and at least we know what we're eating!! Buy extra sauce for dipping if you'd like, but they really don't need it. Also, add/omit any ingredients you like or don't like. Make them to your own taste of course. This is what we like in them.
While many North Americans think of tacos as having crisp, fried shells, authentic Mexican tacos are made with soft, fresh corn tortillas. The traditional preparation is the smart choice, as unfried corn tortillas are low in fat and made with whole grains.
My own mad scientist experiment! Because of the Amarula, (and after doing a little "side-step" after drinking two of these *as it actually made 2 servings for me), the name I gave it seemed to fit! It's light, creamy and not too strong. Hope you enjoy it! :)
Here is my recipe for barbecued pork sandwiches that will feed approximately 50 people. When I used to cater, this is how I made it for Graduations, Anniversaries, Family Reunions and company picnics! Hope this helps you out if you have a large group to serve, too!
