Not your typical minimally sweet Irish Soda Bread. This one is moist and sweeter than most. Has raisins and caraway seeds. Great with Corned Beef Dinner on St. Patrick's Day! Delicious the next morning toasted, too!
Got this recipe from my mother in law.
Got this recipe from a friend, not sure where she got it.
Recipe sounds strange (with the egg in it)... but it is quite tasty!
Good, easy appetizer for informal gatherings (ie, football parties).
My teenagers and husband especially love this!
Very easy to "throw" together and more hearty than just vegetable soup since it has ground beef. Found this on another recipe website (allrecipes.com) posted by "Jackie". I have made a few adjustments.
Ground turkey and wild rice seasoned with oregano, pepper, onion and garlic rolled into cabbage leaves and baked. Topped with tomato sauce.
Found in a paperback cookbook years ago, can't remember it's name, but it was a "healthy" cookbook.
Very delicious, rich, potent eggnog. I double this to make a punchbowl full for a neighborhood party. Everyone enjoys it and it is always "disappears" by the end of the night!
I use fresh/organic eggs.
This is a much shorter/easier recipe than the one in the original Gourmet cookbook in the 1950's that my mother used to make for me on my birthdays and tastes just as good! Found this online at www.relishmag.com.
