I found this recipe in May 2009 issue of New Orleans magazine. Very, very good. Served over spaghettini. The sauce is very rich and flavorful. My family loved it.

    Recipe #465983

At a local restaurant, it's called a "John Daly" after the golfer. It's very refreshing.

    Recipe #378307

A quick, easy, tasty recipe from a friend of a friend of a friend of my sister! Served with salad and French bread, it's a great meal!

    Recipe #355862

I found this recipe in Real Simple magazine and plan to try it out on the Fourth.

    Recipe #311829

This is a Paulette Mitchell recipe I found at a local TV station's website. It sounds delicious and I did not want to lose it. Let me know if you try it before I do!

    Recipe #257974

Delicious change from pineapple upside down cake.

    Recipe #254308

An easy recipe that is great for a dinner party. I found it in a magazine (Women's Day? Family Circle?) while sitting in the waiting area of the hospital emergency room. My family now refers to it as "Emergency Room Roast." I served it with sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach. (BTW, my dad was in the ER but he's just fine now, thank you!)

    Recipe #194457

A DH favorite, served with mashed potatoes. Comfort food! I think I found it in a magazine (Southern Living?) years ago.

    Recipe #133693

More than satisfies a peanut butter addiction!

    Recipe #128335

Another recipe from the book club (by the way, we do actually discuss books!). Very rich, very yummy! Prep time does not include overnight chill.

    Recipe #104259

This is great dish -- much like a sweet potato casserole but not quite as sweet. Got it from a member of monthly book club.

    Recipe #104013

Much like me, this is simple, quick, easy!! I've made it for years, have no idea where it came from. Cook times are if you don't nuke it.

    Recipe #94032

This is another one of my "oldie but goodie" recipes. I usually make it in the fall, but it's really good anytime.

    Recipe #89671

Quick and easy recipe that tastes like it took way more effort!

    Recipe #89670

It's been saved in my recipe book for so many years; I don't recall where it's from. But it is so yummy!!!

    Recipe #89526

This is so easy and fun to make. Cook time is an estimate, depending on size of eggplant and heat of grill. Instead of grilling, the eggplant could also be prepared in a 350-degree oven. The recipe is from my best friend Cookie and recipes are the least of many wonderful things she shares with me.

    Recipe #85842

This is a Marcelle Bienvenu recipe from the New Orleans Times-Picayune. It makes a wonderful gravy that could be thickened with cornstarch or flour if desired.

    Recipe #84884

I found this recipe in Bon Appetit a few years ago. Prep time does not include 4 hours to let cherry cola go flat. Recipe calls for grilling at the end, but I think you could finish off the whole recipe in the oven. The sauce is delicious! Seems like alot to do, but well worth it!

    Recipe #84488

I found this recipe on Internet. I used chopped red onions since I did not have shallots on hand. I love using balsamic vinegar and the glaze is really tasty.

    Recipe #84168

    Simple, tasty dish!!
