An extra special dessert created by a son for his father. More delicious than anything else I've tasted.

    Recipe #121507

Came up with this one a few summers ago when I wanted to impress a newly acquired "beau". He loved it, I hated him ....I dumped him but kept the recipe. Creamy & cheesy, this one isn't low in calories but it is pretty quick. Basically an Alfredo recipe but really garlic-ed up. I've also made this w/crayfish once & it was just as good.

    Recipe #83504

Originally from the Easy Home Cookin' Chicken Recipe Pamphlet, I tweaked it a little bit (like I do with every recipe I find). Even the 8 year old who will only eat Chicken McNuggets or processed chicken patties, declared these a winner. They are fast, not fried & really maintain the flavor of the chicken very well. Great for a fast lunch or even appetizer.

    Recipe #99549

Super cheesy, stick to your ribs, definitely NOT a diet dish. Fairly quick to make...kids LOVE it. My b/f came up with this one night when all we had in the freezer were some minute/sandwich steaks. I have 30 minutes for prep time but I've seen him toss this together in half that time. The kids don't like chopped green peppers but I think they would be great in this dish. Also great for covered dish suppers.

    Recipe #82515

I'm not exactly sure where I got this one from-it may have been a variation on the "Chex Mix" party mix. It's fast, easy to prepare & is a great snack for playing cards (good beer food!). Not for those watching sodium content.

    Recipe #121508

Got this originally from our local newspaper, doctored it up a little bit & had a winner. Simple, inexpensive but a hearty winter soup & is easily made with ingredients found in most pantries (the measurements are based on the size of the canned veggies I had in my local grocery story but like with any soup they're meant to be tinkered with given your family's likes/dislikes). Can be made in crock pot or on stovetop; recipe is easily doubled. If making on stovetop, you may need to add water or stock if you notice too much thickening. Freezes well also. Can easily be made for a tailgate party on a camp stove, hence the name Tailgate Soup. Can easily be made Vegetarian by omitting the meat & adding additional beans.
