A great recipe using ONLY real food ingredients. Very healthy giving proper fiber, fat, and protein needed to get you through the morning. Adapted from 100DaysofRealFood.com This is enough to fill a Rubbermaid cereal container.

    Recipe #489848

This is a recipe I came up with as a substitute for canned chili beans. This is not spicy really but this is usually what you will find the beans called in the grocery aisle. I don't care for kidney beans so I use pintos, but I am sure they would work also. Cooked beans freeze well so it makes sense to cook the whole package and be done.

    Recipe #350036

A recipe posted in the 01/14/09 edition of the Wichita Eagle. I loved the combination of ingredients and the fiber content. An easy to make mexican meal made in one dish! I think this could easily be made into a OAMC meal either cooked and frozen, or made as a "dump" meal.

    Recipe #349860

I recently ate Carne Asada Tacos at On the Border Restaurant and fell in love with them. Their menu description is: Premium, mouthwatering carne asada steak drizzled with Jalapeno Ranch dressing and topped with melted cheese and crispy-fried onion strings, all in grilled flatbread tortillas. I came up with this recipe (with some help from other 'zaars) which I believe is a pretty good copy cat. I used the marinade from recipe 103372 by Sharlene--W and modified the dressing recipe 195520 by --Miss Diggy*--.

    Recipe #309152

Seasoning on Chipotle's chicken for their menu items. From chipotlefan.com

    Recipe #271254

A festive shortbread cookie with a touch of peppermint. A great use for broken and left over candy canes! As posted by BakedChicago.typepad.com on 12/05/07.

    Recipe #270490

Buttery rice with oregano for a great side dish for almost any meal. Created by me.

    Recipe #223808

Our local newspaper (Wichita Eagle) featured a family and they listed this as one of their favorite recipes. I changed several items to their non-fat counterparts.

    Recipe #183419

Very tasty, easy barbecue shrimp recipe. The lime and cilantro really set it off. Recipe from a grocery store marketing firm called Try Foods International.
