The most awesome macaroni and cheese ever! So addictive, we call it "crackaroni." You just can't stop eating this fabulously creamy concoction. I slightly changed the recipe of a coworker who brought it to a potluck. Proceed at your own risk. I can't be responsible for the rise in your cholesterol levels.

    Recipe #484071

This recipe is easy to make--don't be fooled by the number of steps. It makes a beautiful presentation for holidays or other special occassions. I substitute "real" pound cake for the mix (I recommend #8953). I also vary the fruit, using the pound cake and filling as a base for other flavors I want to use--mostly strawberry.

    Recipe #354242

You won't believe it's an all whole wheat quick bread! Lower in sugar (honey) that most recipes, this zucchini bread is fabulous. Low fat seekers can sub 1 cup of applesauce for oil. I have not made the carrot bread variety. From Whole Foods for the Whole Family.

    Recipe #325250

"Good for You" never tasted so good! Kids and grown-ups alike deight in these soft muffins. I use yogurt for the dairy in this recipe. Substitute 1 cup of blueberries or other fruit for the raisins. This was a staple after school treat when my girls were young. Makes great mini-muffins! Freezes well. From the Whole Foods for the Whole Family Cookbook.

    Recipe #325234

This chili recipe is so simple to make, it feels like you're cheating! No chopping, dicing or measuring. The hardest part is browning the ground beef! The flavor is built in. Want a mild chili the whole family will love? Use mild salsa and mild smoked sausage. For spicier chili use spicy salsa and spicy smoked sausage or add some hot sauce! Thank you to Susanna, whose recipe can stand up to the champions!

    Recipe #264273

This incredibly yummy meatball recipe disappears quickly at parties. I found it on the back of a package of Armour meatballs. I use more cinnamon than is called for--at least 2 tsp.

    Recipe #163412

Easy to prepare, this recipe came with a packet of herbs de Provence and lavender from Purple Haze Lavender. Very flavorful. Our girls, who don't like anything too "out there," really liked this dish. The chicken is marinated, so be sure to leave time for the meat to soak in all the flavors! Herbs de Provence can be found as a spice blend or you can make your own (I like the ones that include lavender).
