This should closely resemble the Mexican Corn Bread we enjoyed so much @ Furr's Cafeteria.

    Recipe #491305

This is a special dish to me because it makes my family say 'Mmmmmm'. It is often requested at holidays, special occasions and once instead of Birthday cake. This dish is sweet, rich and has amazing texture.

    Recipe #470630

My son needed an enchilada recipe for his Food Science class. He wanted my recipe, but I don't use a recipe per se'. I have guestimated here and I think it should be pretty close to what I make. My enchiladas are comfort food. We have these for New Years because we are usually tired of turkey and ham by then. These can be made all beef or all cheese.

    Recipe #116920

I developed this frosting because I hate heavy sugary frostings. I love whipped cream on cake but the problem with frosting a cake with whipped cream is that it either soaks into the cake or breaks. This seemed to stabilize pretty well.I frosted a Red Velvet Cake with this and it made such an interesting color combination.

    Recipe #103492

I had this marvelous dish in a Mediterranean Cafe. The fragrance is wonderful and the taste sublime. There has been quite a bit of discussion on this recipe. I would like to clarify that I have had this dish only twice at one restaurant and that I have never actually made the dish. I enjoyed it so much I searched and found this recipe online, it is not original by me. I do not find the one star review helpful. That it doesn't taste like grandma's does not mean it is a bad recipe. As for the use of Garlic, I know nothing of regional Iranian dishes, but I love garlic in most anything!

    Recipe #91809

I found this recipe on another recipe site quite some time ago. These rolls are very rich. Look at all the butter! I tried altering the amount of butter, but got better reviews from my family when I left it as is.

    Recipe #79551

Description:A delicious hot dip. My Aunt brings this every Christmas. I like it on Wheat Thins or Triscuits, but it is good on potato & corn type chips as well. I have searched the internet & have not come across this recipe anywhere else. So enjoy this unusual and delicious dip.

    Recipe #76879

My grandmother made this dessert for my father. It is one of his favorites. I don't really measure things, so I have approximated some measurements. This is a sweet-sour syrup served over a crunchy biscuit-like turnover. It really is better than it sounds. I think it was called a 'Roll' because some people rolled the dough and prepared like cinnamon rolls. I was always served this like a turnover. Either way is fine.
