This is a wonderfully tender cake that came from a July 2000 copy of Bon Appetit. It has a blueberry cheesecake sort of flavor that is fabulous! (Please try it according to the directions before altering it as it is a little tricky.) :D (btw, prep time is a total guess)

This recipe started out from a recipe I found in a magazine, and I then tweaked it to be just the way we like it. It doesn't take long to fix, and is our all time favorite!! All of these measurements are approximate, feel free to use more or less of any of the ingredients to suit your taste. Don't skip the leek. It makes the soup!

This recipe started from a recipe sticker on the top of a package of hamburger at a neighborhood store. I've tweaked it since then, and it is now our very favorite. Be gentle when mixing the hamburger, the less you compress it, the better your meatballs turn out.

We had the virgin version of this drink at one of my bridal showers, and then adapted it to the spiked version at my bachelorette party. It is soooooo good you'll want to drink the whole batch yourself!

I got this recipe from a cookbook that I checked out of the library. I tried it out when we went veggie for Lent. It turned out pretty good.

This takes a long time, but it is worth the work. If you decide to use canned broth, cut the salt in the dumplings. (I'm guesstimating on the prep/cook time.)

This is one of my favorite things to take to pitch-ins. It just tastes like summer to me.

This is our favorite layered salad. For some reason the mayo/miracle whip combo is MUCH better than either alone.

This recipe is my sister's. She has 3 small children, and this is one of the few "healthy" meals they request. They like the spiral look of it. (Plus it tastes really good!)

This recipe came from Food Network with my recipe for Grilled Honey Lime Chicken Sandwiches. I haven't tried it, but I thougt I would post it anyway.

I found this on the Food Network site from Rachael Ray. We LOVE it. The original suggests serving these with Five Vegetable Slaw Salad and tortilla chips. I haven't tried the salad, but I'll post anyway.

This is good with any kind of quiche, cold cuts, fried chicken or sandwiches. We usually end up dipping chips into it. (Cook time is time for chilling)

This is an easy and delicious way to get a chocolate fix.

I got this recipe from a friend who used to work at the deli of our local grocery. When they were bought out by a larger chain their cheese ball recipe changed. This is the only way I can get my favorite cheese ball now. The grocery called it "chipped beef" but it actually uses thinly sliced Buddig roast beef.

I found this in a recipe book shortly after trying a similar version in a restaurant. Rubbing the garlic on the edge of the bread makes all the difference in the world!

This is a good side dish when you're sick of the same old, same old. Be warned, it has a very strong cranberry flavor. If you don't like cranberries you won't like this!

These are pretty tasty, and are pretty impressive for being so easy.

I got this from my friend KJ's MIL who lives in Franklin, KY. It is really easy and very tasty. The servings will depend upon how large your cut of meat is.

This is the ultimate cream of crap soup casserole. It is a comfort food for me. It isn't very healthy, but really easy and delish!

DH & I came up with this recipe using ingredients we had around the house. It is very easy, and a favorite with our friends. With it, we offer sour cream, minced onions, shredded cheddar, saltines, club crackers, and fritoes.
