    Perfect dessert for fall!

    Recipe #506922

I got this great recipe from a site called So yummy. The sour cream helps to keep these light, like cake, but the bananas make it super moist. This is a great way to use up over-ripe bananas. I put them in the freezer and just thaw them when I'm ready to bake. Works great!

    Recipe #497711

Wonderful meal on a cold winter day. Serve it over hot, buttered cornbread. We especially like Recipe #83625, which is just the right amount of sweetness to balance all the spicy. Top with grated cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream. Just a note: many people soak their beans the night before. I prefer to skip that step and think the bean broth is much more tasty when slow cooked for hours. Delicious!

    Recipe #488624

Perfect for a cold winter day! Spice it up or down, depending upon your tastes. We like it SPICY and served with fresh mozzarella cheese over toasted ciabatta rolls. So good! Preparation on this is super easy, but allow plenty of time for cooking.

    Recipe #488597

If you like lemon and you like cookies, this recipe is for you! I discovered it on Pinterest and it won the "Top Cookie Award" on an LDS food blog. I've been baking and making cookies for 40 years and haven't stumbled upon a better cookie than this one. It's very refreshing and light, but the texture is what really makes this cookie stand out. Crunchy on the outside and just the right chewy softness on the inside. Wonderful!

    Recipe #473806

We love these tasty little treats at our house. I first discovered them on a food blog called "Smashed Peas & Carrots." My five year old calls them "Cookie Dough Balls" and he is the envy of all his classmates when he packs them for lunch. They're a great, healthy way to take the edge off your hunger. I'm sure they would freeze very well, but they never last that long--very yummy!

    Recipe #473258

I found this recipe one day on a food blog and was immediately drawn to the combination of sweet and salty. It didn't disappoint! Very, very yummy and an immediate hit with my kids. The texture of soft cookie (do NOT overbake), along with the crunch of the pretzel sends this right on over the top. Enjoy!

    Recipe #472717

One day, I stumbled across one of the best food blogs I've ever found. Pioneer Woman is FUNNY, a great photographer, and one amazing cook! Try this one--you won't be disappointed!

    Recipe #430778

This is a FABULOUS recipe by The Pastry Queen, Rebecca Rather, from her cookbook "The Pastry Queen: Royally Good Recipes from the Texas Hill Country's Rather Sweet Cafe." She says she can never make enough of these wonderful pot pies to satisfy her loyal customers. After trying this recipe, I can certainly see why. PURE comfort food here! When fall comes, this is what you'll be craving. I usually take two days to put these together--stewing the chicken and sauteeing the vegetables on the first day; making the cream sauce and the crust the second day. Do not be intimidated by the crust! It's just a top crust and hangs over the side of the dish in a rustic, country fashion. Very, very easy to roll out and work with. Also, don't buy any special oven proof bowls for this recipe--I always make it in two 9" pie plates and it fills them nicely. I add about 10 minutes to the bake time, but watch carefully so they don't burn. This recipe is super flexible; feel free to add in your favorite vegetables. I always add carrots to mine--I love the sweetness they add--a perfect contrast to the savory flavor of the pie.

    Recipe #393088

One of my dearest friends had a mother who was "famous" in our town for her fabulous cooking and baking. She was a wonderful lady who never served a bad meal; everything that came out of her kitchen was something to rave about. This recipe was one of hers and for years now I've served it at every holiday brunch. This goes together quickly and can be made a day ahead (just be sure to add additional cooking time if it's refrigerated). Often I'll add fresh tomatoes and cilantro for a little extra flavor and color.

    Recipe #365366

My mom snowbirds in Arizona every year and she got this from a lady who makes Indian Tacos to sell at county fairs, etc. It's authentic and, by far, the best Indian Fry Bread I've ever eaten. It's also very soft and easy to work with. It makes enough tacos for 12-15 people, but it's an easy recipe to halve.

    Recipe #350197

I've had this recipe for years and use it often. A perfect dish to take to someone or to take to a potluck dinner. I've varied it lots of ways, and it always turns out good.

    Recipe #303794

Perfect for a ladies luncheon or tea, these sandwiches are served on croissants and make a great presentation!

    Recipe #285616

I've had this recipe for years--not sure where it came from originally, but it sure is good!

    Recipe #285599

Fabulous recipe from the El Coyote Cafe, the oldest Mexican food restaurant in Los Angeles. I'm posting it exactly as I got it, but we usually make a great big 13 x 9 pan of the enchiladas (just keep rolling them up until your pan is full) and double the ranchera sauce. It looks like way too much sauce, but it cooks down in the oven and the flavor is fantastico!

    Recipe #263982

This was recently served at our bookclub luncheon and was a huge hit so I thought I'd post it. It's very easy and quick, but loaded with flavor! You could easily substitute roast beef for the corned beef, if you prefer it. It's easy to customize for individual preferences which makes it a great meal to serve for a group meal. Our hostess served it with a great green salad (red & green leaf lettuce, crumbled gorgonzola cheese, toasted pecans, bite-size pears, with raspberry vinaigrette dressing). Topped off with a yummy carrot cake.

    Recipe #220297

The Ro-tel is what makes these! Little bit sweet, little bit spicy. These go great with roast beef and mashed potatoes.

    Recipe #201249

Disney World has a Polynesian restarant called 'Ohana that is one of our favorite places to eat there. My kids begged me to make 'Ohana Potatoes after we came home from our last trip. It took me a year to find the recipe but I finally did. We usually cut back on the cream and put in more cheese, but any way you make this, it's GREAT!

    Recipe #196614

We love these at our house. The best part about them is the flavor--the second best part is how quick and easy they go together! From Taste of Home's Quick Cooking.

    Recipe #168337

This is a FABULOUS cobbler and, with the self-rising flour, you won't believe how fast it goes together. Five minutes or less, and it's ready for the oven. It's also very flexible--I've used all kinds of berries and mixed berries for it, and you can double it for a 13x9 pan. It's quite sweet with good berries so feel free to cut back on the sugar. I think it would be good with Splenda, too. From Southern Living Magazine.
