These meatballs are so delicous. It's hard to describe them. They are not bbq and not sweet and sour. They just have this delicious tangy flavor. They are best served alone or with rice, but noodles will do too. They make a great appetizer or can even be the main dish.

    Recipe #433799

This is a creamy chicken filling topped with a light cornbread and cheese. Very flavorful and yummy. I leave the celery and green peppers out when I make this at home. It does take a while to bake and a little prep time, but is well worth the effort. I've had this recipe for nearly 20 years. I first got it on a cooking bulletin board before the internet existed.

    Recipe #418507

These are my favorite cookies. I found the recipe on the back of the Quaker Oats canister.

    Recipe #418488

This soup does not have cream or milk in it like many of the ones I have seen. I got it off the internet many years ago. The recipe is credited to the Dinner Co-op. And very simple to make. I think it could also easily be converted to a slow cooker recipe. I usually double the recipe when I make it.

    Recipe #411578

This recipe came from my high school Home Ec. class (which I took 19 years ago). I have never seen another tortilla soup like it. I describe this soup as having a taste somewhere between salsa, tomato soup, and spaghetti sauce. It is very simple to make. I use 2 cups of water and two chicken boullion cubes instead of a can of chicken broth. Also we like garlic so I usually use about 3 cloves of garlic. To make this soup vegetarian don't add the beef and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.

    Recipe #397434

This recipe came from a girl I knew named Quency. She said it was a family recipe. I always make this for bbq's and pot lucks. It is a big hit! This makes a very large quantity of salad. I usually mix it up in a foil roasting pan so I don't have to worry about having a big enough bowl or remembering to bring my bowl home.

    Recipe #397432

This soup isn't like the potato soups you find in resturaunts. This is an old fashioned Cream of Potato soup. I got the orignal recipe in home ec. in high school. This soup is thick and hearty. Perfect for cold days or when you just want some comfort food. I've given alternate measurements for a smaller portion at the bottom of the recipe along with tips to make thinner and/or chunkier.
