    I love marinades and this is one of my favorites. We're talking tender, juicy and flavorful. I have only used flank steak for this one but I suppose any other good steak could be used.

    If you like a strong teriyaki flavor, this is the one. When the word gets out that I'm making Teriyaki Steak, my whole family seems to show up so we have our times when it's a hush-hush thing. Oh, and kids "love" it.

    We used to go to a restaurant that had the best Chicken Nachos so I came up with my own version. Whenever I make them I cover the coffee table and we gather around and eat there, out of the pan, with bowls of various dipping items. This is a meal for our family. One of my kid's favorites.

    This recipe was given to me a few years ago. It is absolutely mouth watering. The fontina cheese is a must, though a little more expensive. I wouldn't recommend trying to make these without it. Light cream cheese and sour cream can be used in place of regular. Enjoy.

    After searching for a meatball recipe for ages, I finally came up with this one and it's a hit. Great in spaghetti, meatball hoagies, etc. They also freeze well after cooking.

    With fall here, the soup starts to simmer in the kitchen. One of my favorites is from my mother. This Beef Barley Vegetable Soup is meaty with big chunks of vegetables and the broth is to die for. I usually cut my carrots and celery into 1/2" or a bit larger chunks. I also keep the onion cut on the larger side instead of chopping finely. It's easy to make, tasty to eat, and warms the body. Serve with a nice crusty bread.

    Over time I have tweeked this recipe again and again and now I'm done - I think. This is a quick chili and mild in spice as I use all mild ingredients. It can easily be made hotter for those who prefer some fire. I do this in a crockpot; it can easily be converted to the stove.
