Italian oil bread with salt on top. Can also be topped with roast peppers, onions, tomatoes--whatever does it for you :) It makes great salad sandwiches, is fantastic for dipping and moping up excess sauces, great for going with salad or tomatoes in oil with basil. Enjoy!
Traditional Valencian Paella... Use short grain, round rice. Paella, pudding or rissotto rice. If it goes crispy or slightly burnt on the bottom dont worry, this is quite normal and very tasty...Its called Socarrat or socarraet in Valencia.
When it sets it is a solid frosting for wedding and X-mas cakes. Can also be made into candy by adding flavour to the mix and using a bakers sleeve piped onto greaseproof paper. Alternatively you can use it to make cake decorations by adding colour to the mix.
My Brother in law and his girlfriend, love these--as does my BF, and everyone else that's tried them. It's not really patatas a lo pobre, they have chorizo sausage and things in them. I use more spices!
This is a modification on Chef Lali 's chocolate frosting, I discovered it makes great fudge if you boil it and then chill it in a mould! Thanks lali!
