    This is a great side dish for a variety of main dishes! I serve it at Christmas every year with prime rib and horseradish, which is a great combo, because the zingy taste of this dish works so well with the horseradish. It is not as spicy as it sounds -it's actually a nice, mild spiciness, but the green chiles and cream cheese really jazzes up corn (I have also made it with jalapenos to spice it up a notch). Posted upon request! :-)

    This recipe is very simple, and great to make for a crowd (it can also be easily be adjusted for a smaller group, as well). As written, it serves 8. My fabulous stepmother made this for a group of 14, while we were on vacation, and I thought that it was a great idea. You can also adjust the type of potatoes to your guests' preference. Enjoy!

    I threw this dinner together one night with items that I had on hand. It turned out to be a lovely dinner that was appreciated by all. Herbes De Provence is a wonderful spice that can liven up chicken, salad, potatoes, and veggies. It is a staple in my kitchen, and an important ingredient in this recipe, to really liven up the green beans.     This is a simple and quick low carb meal that can be prepared in minutes! Is is so simple that it really isn't much of a recipe; however, it is a great idea for a low carb substitute for regular French Onion Soup, which is usually made with bread. Feel free to substitute the listed cheeses for Parmesan Cheese, which is a lower-fat cheese, or to substitute a handful of regular sliced mushrooms for the Portobello Mushroom Slice. Please note that this recipe, as written, serves one, but it can easily be adapted to serve as many as you want.

    I love sauteed spinach with garlic, and one day I got creative and threw in some shredded cheddar cheese (Tilamook is the best). Yum! Yum! What a delightful treat my surprise turned out to be! :-) This may even appeal to non-spinach lovers because of the wonderful cheesy taste it brings. Please note that, when you first start to saute the spinach leaves, it will appear to be too much spinach, but once it begins to wilt, it becomes a much smaller quanity. Best of all, this dish literally takes about 5 minutes to throw together!

    Veggie Soup is usually not thought of as decadent, but this one is so rich, flavorful, and delectable that the name is perfect! This is a wonderful, healthy, filling, low-cal, and savory veggie soup, one that is perfect for the South Beach Diet (or any other low carb diet). I like to make up a big batch on the weekend, and then freeze some for both one weeknight dinner and a lunch or two during the week. I have a pot simmering right now, and I can't wait to dig into it. This recipe was found on a South Beach Recipe Site, and then slighly modifed by me, in an effort to perfect it to our preferance. Feel free to experiment with the spices (or even the veggies) -this just happens to be the way we like it!

    I made this recipe for the first time tonight and it was delectable! My husband liked it so much that he requested it as a weekly dish, and I wholeheartedly agree! It's a wonderful recipe that allows for variety, by alternating between beef and chicken. It also comes together so quickly; the cooking time is only 5 minutes or so. I got this recipe from the Betty Crocker website, one of our sponsers here at Zaar (it has been slightly modifed by me). Please note that the prep time includes the marinating time. Something a little different and a little exotic!

    I found this recipe on a low carb recipe site and I served it last night (my husband has been begging me to make Jambalaya and I finally found a low-carb version). It was excellent, easy to make, and had a nice kick to it (I added extra hot sauce, which might explain why it had a nice kick to it :-). If you are not eating low-carb, then I am sure you can add some rice to it (or serve it on top of rice). Enjoy!

    This makes a wonderful pasta dish, with a nice, soft spiciness to it. The sun-dried tomtatoes and shallots add a nice touch, as does the eggplant (although I sometimes leave the eggplant out). You can also use whole, fresh red or green chiles with this recipe, but I usually use canned diced green chiles, to avoid chopping the whole chiles. I love to serve this with cheesy garlic bread and a nice, crisp salad. Another recipe from one of Linda McCartney's vegetarian cookbooks. Please note that the cooking time does not include cooking the pasta.
