super moist, more dense than regular brownies. But rich and not super sweet. Use good quality chocolate!! Sprinkle with powdered sugar when done for extra sweetness. Also good with nuts mixed in!

    Recipe #486624

This was the basic cornbread recipe on the cornmeal box that I added things and tweaked to my liking.

    Recipe #403910

This recipe is very easy and quick. I add whatever veggies i have in the house. I have also made this with Italian turkey sausage and it was very good!

    Recipe #399594

My grandma gave me this recipe. She got it out of Southern Lady magazine. It was kind of spicy when I made it, if you don't like spicy I would substitute the peppers for just a green bell pepper. Also, it calls for chipotle chili powder and I used just plain. Any white bean would be good in this, I substituted one of the cans of beans for a can of hominy and added a can of corn. The directions listed are my quick method of preparing this chili!

    Recipe #396867

This is one of my family's favorite soups.

    Recipe #395609

This recipe orginally came from the Martha Stewart Everyday Food magazine, I have made a few changes. The recipe calls for bocconcini, which is pretty expensive and not available at my store all the time. So instead, i take a big hunk of the fresh mozzarella and cut it into small cubes.

    Recipe #395607

This is the ultimate feel-good chicken noodle soup! I add a couple of carrots sliced to mine and make it with whatever chicken I have in the house.

    Recipe #383423

All of the variations of this drink are delicious! But, as a Pensacola native, this is a bushwacker to me. This recipe is copied straight from my Coco Lopez Bushwacker cup before the writing wore off! This also seems to have ingrediants that are always on hand (or at least in my house). We usually always make this a double recipe. When doubling, a ripe banana add to the mix is delicous!

    Recipe #383405

This recipe was given to me at a family reunion. It is not a very healthy recipe so I have made it using reduced or fat free of the soup, cream cheese and sour cream and it tasted just as good!

    Recipe #383403

I make this with fresh corn on the cob when I have time to grill it, or a bag of frozen corn. Tastes great sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

    Recipe #383399

I made up this recipe as I was cooking based on what ingredients I had on hand and my vision of shrimp and grits should be! It may seem like a lot of ingredients but most are standard household items and it well worth it! (Check the package of your grits for cooking time and just substitute milk for water.)

    Recipe #380895

My whole family loves Mexican food and a favorite dish is enchiladas verde from the restaurant. I began experimenting with a sauce to make enchiladas but discovered rolling corn tortillas was messy and they often broke apart. So instead of rolling individual enchiladas I began layering tortillas and filling in a casserole dish. This is now a weekly meal for my family!

    Recipe #361457

This is an awesome meatloaf recipe that I just made up working with ingredients on hand. It may sound odd, but once everything is baked together it turns out delicious!

    Recipe #360923

I'm not sure where this recipe came from originally, my family has been making it for as long as I can remember. This is more like a loaf-shaped cake than a bread, but is delicious!

    Recipe #334898

This is a very hearty and tasty, good-for-you chicken recipe. I created this to break away from the tradition tomato sauces and Itailian chicken recipes. I use boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut to fit better in crock. The chicken gets so tender it falls apart and I don't have bones to fish out. I have made this with either wine and cooking wine, both are great, or chicken broth if you don't have wine handy. If you are trying to stick to a gluten-free diet, double check your canned ingredients for hidden gluten!
