This is the best thing I've ever tasted, brought to me a few years back by Babycenter.com's Amazing and Wonderful Bargain Hunters Board! The BHB and I go waaaaay back. I remember my first day, 4 years ago. I reported the board for trolls. LMAO. Preparation time is hands on time, cooking time includes freezer cooling.
This is just PERFECT. A different take on a classic that just makes so much sense. I took a few recipes, mushed them together, an tweaked them to come up with this salad that fits my family perfectly. I hope you enjoy it!
Just one version. I don't use a pasta machine but you can if you want. There are lots of variations for differently colored pastas, this one is a rich green and has lots of spinach in it to sneak veggies into the kids. Raviolis take more time. Times listed are for fresh.
This turned out SOOO good! Though, next time I may add more ginger, since I heart ginger. I also will simmer the ginger/sugar syrup for longer. I am printing the recipe exactly as it is on his site below. Measurements I used differently were: About 5T ginger, 2/3c sugar, and the rest as listed.
Super yummy and super quick, this chocolate cake is accidentally vegan! It can be made from scraps found around most kitchens. To make cupcakes instead, just fill a cupcake pan (greased and floured or with cups) 3/4 full and bake for 20 minutes instead.
