From the Camellia brand red beans company- from right off the side of the package. The way they make 'em in Louisiana- in and out of New Orleans. The original printed recipe states to use "ham or seasoning meat." I've listed the smoked sausage my husband likes to use. Camellia brand red beans can be found on grocery shelves all over Louisiana, but try this recipe with whatever dried red beans you can find; it won't disappoint. Definitely serve over white rice (Zatarain's if you're local). Enjoy!

Roasted broccoli with a few familiar ingredients is what it took, but they ate it, liked it, and asked for more. I wish the same success for all you moms out there; that's why I'm posting. Good luck! Note: You could certainly use fresh broccoli if you have it, but I usually have a frozen bag on hand and it works great. I usually prepare these and bake at same time something else is cooking (like roast chicken). This is basically an oven fries recipe using broccoli instead. We also do this with sweet potatoes.

This recipe is a recent invention at our house. My kids love to make these themselves and pretend they are in a galaxy far, far away...

Healthy, tasty, and quick to put together. I found this recipe in Family Fun magazine as a recommendation for Pot Luck recipes, and modified it to what you see here based on what was in my grocery store. Satisfied my Chinese food craving, and crowd pleaser for my (picky) family. The colors make it look like a Mardi Gras parade- enjoy!
