"What a good use of some leftover chicken breasts I had on hand. I liked the idea of chicken salad, but I wanted a hot dish. This fit the bill. I didn't have water chestnuts so I threw in some mushrooms. I cut down on the mayo a little bit. I also deleated the olives (hubby does not like.) It was super easy to follow, very quick and quite tasty."
"I think the 1/2 cup a salt is a misprint. I didn't add any salt since the olives were salty enough. I used a 1/2 cup of cheese mixed inside the casserole and a 1/2 cup on top. The flavor is highly dependent on the way you cook your chicken. I used leftover rotisserie chicken loaded with flavor which came through in this casserole since there are not of competing flavors. I don't think this would be as tasty with boiled chicken. This is a good "leftover" recipe and I'll keep it on hand for those times."
"I made a batch of this last night to reheat for lunches during the work week, really tastey! I did add about a half cup sour cream to it because I didn't think it looked creamy enough for my taste. Really yummy!"
