"Oh My Goodness, these are simply wonderful. I made 6 scones and they turned out wonderfully. In order to humor my diabetic self (it can be such a pain) I used Southwest flavor Eggbeaters, fat free coffee creamer for the cream and skim milk. I did use real med cheddar cheese. With no jalapeno in the house I added some of the sliced red and yellow peppers that you get an a jar. 10 mins was perfect at 475 Although I think I'll use an insulated pan next time. The bottom was not burned but it was a bit darker than I prefer. The flavor and texture are just outstanding and they are heaven to much with nothing else at all. No butter, no ham, just their wonderful selves :D. This one is a keeper BK !!"
"Yum! I made 1/3 of the recipe. I used slightly less cayenne and no jalapeno because I made it for breakfast and the kids aren't spicy eaters. :) I really liked this and it was super easy because I just formed it into a big circle, wetting my fingers a little to lightly press it out. Cooked this at 450F and cut into wedges after it was done. I would make this again! Made for Went to the Market. Thanks!"
"Great scones, I used two jalapeno peppers and increased the cayenne, also I did reduce the oven to 425 degrees, they turned out wonderful! thanks BK!...Kitten:)"
"Very good, followed recipe and they turned out perfect, served with a salad and I will make this again. Thanks"
"I made this for One Two Three Hit Wonders game and I'm not sure if I didn something wrong. The dough was really really wet and I ended up using about 2/4 cup more flour than the recipe called for. I ended up cooking it in one round cake for 5 minutes, flipping it, cutting it into triangles, and then baking it 5 minutes more. That worked fine, and it tasted really good. I'm going to try this again sometime to see if I measured wrong, and if so, I'll update my review. "
"Wow, these are delicious! I think the combination of cayenne, jalapeños and cheese were very nice together. I added 2 jalapeños instead of one, and it was not hot at all...but then I live in Texas where we like hot stuff! :-) The dough was easy to work with, and the smell was heavenly. I served these warm, right out of the oven, and they were just plain excellent. Thanks Baby Kato for sharing this keeper!"
