"Using store bought Epsom and Rock salts, peppermint oil & red food coloring, make lovely gifts for relaxing in the bath. These salts are known for their abilities to ease aches & pains when dissolved in the warm water bath."

"I don't personally use these as I dislike bathing in the tub..I'm a shower girl myself, but I did make these, put them into 2 oz glass jars with cork tops from the dollar store, tied red and white ribbon around the rim and gave them as gifts to friends. One friend wanted me to make more so she could take them to work and sell them as everyone there loved hers...She sold them for $5.00 each! I sold a couple of dozon. Thanks!"
"This is a fantastic idea! I made these up as part of a gift bag for my daughter's teacher. I put it in a glass "restaurant style" sugar dispenser instead of a jar, so she can just pour it out easily into her bath. The smell is terrific and it looks so pretty! I added a little more food colouring than specifies as it looked sort of pink instead of red, but otherwise followed the directions exactly. I ended up with lots of pretty little jars to give away as gifts, and one big one to keep for myself! Thanks for sharing a fun, easy recipe!"
"Haven't made this yet but excited about making them for Xmas gifts....a great but inexpensive gift. Two questions however....where do you find rock or sea salt and peppermint oil? I have never used either. Thanks for the great idea :) Prissy"
"This is so easy for a last minute gift when you don't know what to get a person and very easy to make. When I purchased the peppermint oil, I was expecting it to be in a dropper, but it wasn't, so I put too much in and the kitchen and I smells like peppermint, but it smells oh so good."
"A great gift idea! Aside from that initial purchase of the peppermint oil it was very economical - I bought some cannister type containers at the dollar store & both salts at the bulk barn. I tied some red & white ribbons around the top & used some Xmas labels to identify the contents. Thanx Jess!"
"I made this with some variations and gave it to my friends at work for Christmas. My variations were Tangerine and the other was Lemon Thyme. They were al so impressed! I put them into little clear bags I got from the candy making section at the craft store and tied them with raffia and a brown paper lable. I didn't do it in different colors so it made it easier for me. Most of my friends said they were going to try it out tonight and I can't wait to hear from them! Thanx for the best gift I've ever made!"
"This is a wonderful and very relaxing bath salt fix. I have made this alot for my mom who often complains of pain in her ankles. This really helps her feel better! This is something I have loved and enjoyed making for gift giving as well while I was in Muscat. Wonderful recipe and it got back lots of happy memories! Thank you for sharing:) "
